Shoreline 13121 12.1" Neoprene Laptop Jacket
![]() |
nice sleeve, but...
This sleeve seems well made and looks nice, but it doesn't fit either my IBM X30 or X22. These are both small laptops, but they do have very square front corners, which seems to be the issue.NOT for M1210 with 9 cell battery, but Great Case otherwise!
I bought this through amazon after seeing a friend of mine use it with his Dell M1210 laptop (+ standard 6 cell battery) and it looks and works great! However, I bought my M1210 with the 9 cell battery that sticks out a bit, and unfortunately - this case did not fit at all with the 9 cell. No amount of fighting would make it fit. =( If you want to fit the M1210 + 9 cell battery, check out the 13" sleeve by Case Logic: 13" Black Student Shuttle and Case Logic - Student Laptop Shuttlenice but fragile
It works great for my thinkpad x60, and even stretched to cover the two extended batteries I put on it. The zipper pulls kept coming off, even with gentle use. If you want a tight fit for a good price it's OK though. I'm buying another one.Not for Toshiba Satellite U205
The Toshiba website suggest this sleeve for their 12.1" Satellite Laptop, but the sleeve is to small for this laptop.Great Protection at a Great Price
This will not substitute for a full case, but if you take your notebook and toss it into a bag like I do, the this protective sleeve is for you. It's convenient and easy to work with in any situaiton. There are times when you just want to carry your device without the bulk of a larger bag. This is the answer. It is soft and protective. Now there are some considerations that those considering this product need to know. 1. It does not have a hard design. Not a substitute for a hard case. 2. You should measure the size of your device to get a really good fit. Overall I think it's a great value for the price.LAPTOP AC ADAPTER FOR HP 18.5V 3.5A 5.0MM 384019-003 391172-001 384019-001 ED494AA#ABA PPP009H PA-1650-02HC NC2400 NC4400NC6400 NX7300 NX7400 NC NX

Built NY E-LS12-GRN 12-Inch Laptop Sleeve (Green)
![]() |
Good Purchase
I haven't used the cover much yet, but it seems like it is a great buy and would last for long. Fits perfect on my x61 Lenovo.Laptop Sleeve
This case fits my 12 inch powerbook perfectly, and is well-padded, so I feel like my computer is protected. Great product!Fits like a glove
It really fits around the shape of your tablet and it takes up almost no extra room in my briefcase.Great cushioning; but don't like the stretch
I thought the quality of this was fantastic; and one of the claims of this product was its' ability to stretch in the narrow body and hug the laptop. I have one of these new glassy /glossy surface laptops from HP; and when I put it in the case it had to stretch to fit; so when i pulled the zipper closed; the teeth pressed against the edges of the laptop with every closure. After spending a lot of money fro a new laptop; i didn't like the idea of pressing a zipper against edges several times a day. i returned this and bought the Belkin model which zips 1 and 1/2 way around; and fits snup, but not overly tight; and I love that case!Wonderful item, fits my Lenovo ThinkPad x61 with extended battery perfectly!
BASICS: I recently bought a new computer, a Lenovo Thinkpad x61 (12.1"), and was in dire need of a sleeve to protect it. This product is wonderful and I was very happy to see that my laptop fits perfectly inside, even when I have the extended battery on, which was very important to me and something that I was worried about. BOTTOM LINE: Great product, very nicely made, fits perfectly, stretches nicely but stays snug to hug your laptop and provide protection. Definitely worth buying!Marware Protection Pack 17" MacBook Pro

Keep It Pristine
The Marware protection pack is worth the money if you want to keep your MacBook in pristine, like-new looking condition. The pad keeps my watch from scratching the large surface near the thumb pad and the keyboard cloth keeps stray keyboard marks from transferring to the screen when the book closes. Worthwhile investment.Great product
I really like this product. Not only does it protect my MAC from scratches, it also acts as a cushion and makes it more comfortable to type.Overall, a good product
The sheet fit the wristpad perfectly. I haven't tried it, but I think it would be difficult to remove it if you wanted to. The pad covering the keyboard is a great idea, but it curls at the 4 corners. Maybe it will relax in time.good quality, had it only for two months, will update review, but so far so good
almost perfect fit for my 17" MP, the key board cloth leaves something to desire, It claims you can remove it wash it and re apply it, i haven't done that yet.Great product. Works exactly as advertised.
I have this product for my 17" MacBook Pro and it works great. I had it on my MBP for a year and it was finally dirty enough that it needed replacing. I removed it with no problem. It left no residue. I replaced it with a new version, again with no problem. This product works EXACTLY as advertised. I would not be without it because it is too easy to dirty the wrist rest area of the MBP. I can not understand how the reviewers of the 15" model had the problems they are having unless they really did something wrong when applying the product to their computer. Perhaps they dropped it on the shag rug first? Maybe they added their own adhesive??? I just don't see how this product could leave the residue they are talking about. I even have to lift off and reposition the first one I bought several times with no problem. It just works.Thursday, August 28, 2008

Kensington Lightweight, Slim line 120 Watt DC Notebook Power Adapter for PC Laptops- 33196
![]() |
Kensington 120 watt DC Notebook Power Supply for Laptops
This was a bad buy. The 120-watt supply does not provide adequate power to charge and run a Toshiba Satellite 1955 laptop from the 12-volt power outlet in the car. The laptop is rated at 90 watts. I contacted Kensington and they said they would send me a different connector. They did send a different connector and it did not work any better than the first one I used. I told them the new connector did not work. They told me that they did not have a connector for my computer and that was that. Communicating with Kensington by email in an attempt to fix this problem took over a month. They do not do refunds.Works as expected -- needs more tips
I bought this thing so I could watch movies on my laptop during the eight hour flight to Hawaii for my honeymoon. It worked great. It plugged right into the empower port in my seat on the plane, and did everything I expected it to. The only downsides (besides the hefty price tag) were that it didn't come with tips for my cell phone -- a Motorola e815 -- which uses the same charger as many other Motorola phones, though you could order it from them. Also, though I could get a tip for my wife's Nintendo DS fat, they do not make a tip for my DS lite. My advice to anyone considering it is to make sure they make a tip for your device before purchasing, and even then, make sure the tip you need comes with the unit instead of needing a separate order. Also, be careful that additional tips don't put you over your price point.Good for road warrior, too short AC cable
I bough a refurbished with tips packege (N1/N2/N8, M1/M2/M5/M15, J1/6), here is my comment. 1) Small and slim, thanks god, finally someone gave us right size... NB small and small every day, but adaptor and NB bag large and large... 2) As most review, the adaptor is hot, and AC cable is short... In fact, that was toooo short... Understand we don't like 2 super long cable on the road, but this 3" AC cable... Why they not just make it like a piece... the wire easy to twice, because that is so short... anyway, let me see how many days it will twice to die... 3) Thanks for super tips package, now I just need a adaptor for all I need (air/car/AC for NB, Cell and PDA) P.S. I had measure the voltage from the adaptor, it seen voltgae change due to recharge, hope it's ok.Pathetic availability of SmartTips
Before buying one of these make sure Kensington makes a tip for your device, they still don't have one for the IBM Thinkpad T60, or a properly working one for the Motorola RAZR - and how long have they both been available!!!Lets a road warrior be a road warrior!
Great product. Allowed me to get a lot of work done away from standard power. The size is ideal and light.Brenthaven Edge I Sleeve (Black) for 13" MacBook

Bomber protection, simple storage
No Michael Jackson pockets all over. Easy to remove for an airport scan. Can operate a macbook w/out taking it fully out of the case. Dropped mine once from waist-high and no damage. Light.Perfect fit for MacBook
This case is made to fit the MacBook. My computer fits snugly and the case is well padded to protect it. I like the size of this case as well. There is a pull tab that helps you to easily remove your computer when you are ready to use it. I think this is the perfect case.Best laptop bag for me so far!
I purchased this laptop sleeve/bag as I wanted a laptop bag that could function as a sleeve and a bag when needed, and also that would protect my investment. I must say that this bag covers all of my requirements. For those of you looking for a big bag that will house the laptop, books, mouse, etc...then this is not for you. However, if you want a sleek, custom-fit laptop sleeve for your 13.3" Macbook then this is it! Excellent protection and I absolutely love it! (and the price I got it for was none short of outstanding). Thanks Amazon!perfect
This product is just perfect for my mac and seems sturdy and well padded. It is just what I need.Perfect fit!!
My son's new Apple fit perfect. The sleeve is very slimline, while offering good protection for his laptop.Tuesday, August 26, 2008

As a Desktop Replacement, this fits the bill
Good luck reading this. i've had this computer five days so far (from Office Depot, after my desktop had a BIOS update/OS freeze issue) and it has been everything i thought it would be and more (especially for the price). Actually my rating is probably a 4.75. Here are are the Windows Experience Index scores this computer has (mine and the one at the store). Processor: 4.8 Memory (RAM): 5.8 Graphics: 4.1 Gaming Graphics: 3.8 Primary Hard Disc: 5.3 So, this computer is not exactly a gaming rig, but seems solid. The graphics scores are hurt by the integrated ATI Radeon 3100. Window Vista 64 bit, dual core processor and a 10 key were key items my lists(the 4GB of 6400 RAM didn't hurt). This is not an aesthetically unappealing computer either. All my programs have worked so far. The FM antenna worked well (better reception than my radio). The DVD burner seems to work well. i liked the touchpad better than most notebooks i have seen (it is flush with the keyboard and less smooth/slippery than some other notebooks i have seen), though i am now using a wireless mouse. Also, the sound on this computer is good (playing MP3s, etc) and the computer actually has a volume dial. Unfortunately this does come with more that a few bloatware/free trials programs. This computer is not that light either, but it is a desktop replacement (i have the dimensions at about 15.5" x 11.5" x 1.75"). TI is probably going to take a while when you set it up downloading the updates. Another possible negative to this computer is that the battery life i got the first time i tried it was about 1:27 minutes (though i was running a virus scan, surfing the internet using wireless and using the default highest brightness). i got the multicard adapter to read SD, but not xD yet (maybe that has to do with the fact that i deleted the driver, but luckily found it again under one of the Tosiba desktop icons). i couldn't get the face recognition to register correctly, so i uninstalled it (not really that useful anyway). The area by the touchpad does get a little warm. There are no HDMI/REGZA links on this computer or Bluetooth. Another negative is that i can't seem to get the plasticy strip off of the hinge. The screen, the keyboard (kind of glossy) and the case attract dust like a magnet.Tamrac 5585 Expedition 5x Photo/Laptop Backpack (Black)

Now it's perfect!
With the addition of the laptop pocket on this new version, this bag is awesome. Great flexibility for configuration with lots of velcro straps and pads. I have a small 12.1" laptop so this is the perfect size. I love the modular system you can add on to, and also the battery memory card pockets with the red flaps to distinguish between new and used is ingenuios!! Very comfortable where it rests on your back.Excellent Camara Bag Only
I love this bag. Very well made; strong construction, water resistant features abound, very strong zippers and tough external shell material. However, the laptop section is basically worthless. My wifes 14.1" Dell would not fit in the pouch--not even close. They should have placed the Laptop compartment in the back of the bag vice the front. I accept the blame for not researching this feature well enough but the advertising is a bit misleadinggreat case for carrying several camera accessories
this case is smaller then it looks. i debated getting the next smallest case and am glad i didnt. i have this bag full with the current camera equipment i own. its extremely comfortable to carry when hiking of riding to locations. i currently have 2 cameras and 3 lenses in the bag along with extra batteries and accessories to both cameras. i was very impressed with how rugged this bag is. it is incredibly well made and weatherproof as well as shock proof. would recommend this bag in a heart beat.Monday, August 25, 2008
Apple MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop (1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive)
![]() |
Worth the price!
While it is true that the MacBook Air is not for everyone, this is the best computer I have owned. Mine is the SSD version and it is my work computer, used for Web development, occasional graphics work in Creative Suite, and bookkeeping using QuickBooks for Windows via Parallels. After reading all the debate about the relative performance compared to more powerful machines as well as complaints about lack of ports and other "features", I have found that the actual daily ease-of-use is incredible. It is quiet and very portable, the screen is fantastic, the trackpad is highly responsive, waking from sleep is instantaneous, and the speed for regular work using a variety of applications is very fast. My existing peripherals work with the Air. The only accessories I purchased are the USB Ethernet adapter and a neoprene sleeve. I do not own a SuperDrive, Airport Extreme router, or Time Capsule backup. I was able to reinstall OS X Leopard without many of the extras and saved a significant amount of disk space. With all my applications and files, there is still 29 GB of available space on the 64 GB drive. Customizing the set up was surprisingly easy. Using a typical non-Apple wireless router and the USB Ethernet adapter, I plugged in to the wired ports and used Remote Disc to reinstall Leopard and several third-party applications. After the initial set up, Remote Disc then works over any wireless network. For backing up, I use a 2.5-inch, SATA hard drive in a USB enclosure. The USB port on the Air delivers enough power out of the single connection (no two-wired connections necessary). Compared to my former machine, a MacBook Pro with 4GB of memory, the two caveats are that I cannot have a ton of application open at once, and intensive Photoshop work takes a performance hit. But these two negatives are far outweighed by the positives. Since prices are coming down for SSDs in general, the price is coming down on the Air with SSD. I purchased mine for just slightly more than my former MacBook Pro. And for me, it was definitely worth it.Nice if you don't mind it being out-dated within 6 months !!!
I actually do not own this but my friend bought one a month ago. Very simply put; it is a nice toy if you have thousands of dollars to waste. In a very short time from now it will be seriously out-dated and Apple will push a fancier and more cost effective(cheaper)one. TERRIBLE VALUEI Love It--Now I Want My Own!
This is going to be a short and sweet review, because I don't actually own this laptop, but a friend has let me try hers several times. I loved everything about it: Size, ease of use, speed, keyboard, monitor, EVERYTHING. Let me confess here that I'm not especially "technically inclined". So, to be fair, I'm giving it 4 stars--since some techical folks may be aware of faults that escaped me. I'll be back to update this review when I get my own machine--which I want!Macbook Air
Bought 3 of these laptops. This review is for all 3. Very good laptop. But you would not expect less from Apple. Packaged in a very nice black box. Very small and light. Although very thin its keys are made from solid material and one will enjoy using them. Many people maybe not accustomed to Apple's operating system but its more reliable than Microsoft's. Also fancy gui. When you switch it on for the first time you have to complete a series of forms and settings so that it can adjust everything automatically. It found my wireless network without trouble and logged into the internet. It only has one usb. 2 would have been nice. But the real disapointment is that does not have an optical drive. One has to get an external one. Except only 1 usb and no dvd writer I do not think that there are bad things about this laptop. It is very recommended for those that travel a lot and do not want too much power out of the laptop.Go Go steve jobs!
It had to take the wonder kid of my generation to think of an untralightweight laptop that you can carry with you anytime. I did not have to consider other smaller units like the hp mininotebook which is miles behind in speed and capacity, etc. The single usb port should not be a prob. I bought more expensive laptop units in the past and and all pale in comparison with my MBA. I am certain a 2.0 or 2.4 ghz will be in the market soon, but i cannot wait.PalmOne m130 Handheld

It was pretty cool
I got this back in 2002, it was one of the first color palms. I did not have a cell phone back in the day, so this was useful for games, organizer, etc... The batter was not replaceable on it. It was pretty cool, I used to put PDF books on it, and I had Sim City, and it would sync web content when I put it into a cradle. Also had pocket office, and a fold out keyboard. Wish my Nokia N75 had that.Just what I ordered!
The product was just as advertised. I was pleased that the delivery was a stated and on time. The PDA was in excellent repair and replaced the old one I loved so much. Now that cell phones have become so sophisticated, the old PDA's seem to be next to impossible to find. I was very pleased with this experience and will use AMAZON again and again! Thank you!!The case cracks
I loved my first m130 which lasted about a year. When the case I cracked I bought two more for my husband and me. Both of ours cracked after about a year plus the OS is not compatible with XP for syncronizing. Plus I had a lot of problems with getting a recharger that would work or last long for the M130. I have since bought the Zire 22 which I have had for more than 2 years and the case is still intact.Cute toy but.....
Like many others online I was never able to hotsync this to the computer. As a standalone it is fun and great-but the software is incompatible to XP and NO hotfix really works. Before you buy this do a "google" as to the hotsync problems. Palm makes it very very difficult to join their "customer support" forums (you must use user names and passwords that have one upper case letter, one numeric etc.) so any help available out in cyber space probably would not bother. I tried their new beta OS and it caused catastrophic fatal errors to my computer. (Had to spend two hours 'restoring') If you can find this for a couple of bucks at a garage sale-go for it.Problem
Not sure if it is the product or the individual unit, but this dumped data for no reason and I was unable to retrieve it. That was a pain reentering a load of names, addresses and appointments.Sunday, August 24, 2008
Lowepro Messenger Factor L Computer Bag - fits most 17" Laptops - Espresso / Latte
![]() |
Best bag I've ever had for my "17
Quick review here. So far I love this bag. A pocket big enough for the laptop, plenty of padding and a great look.great sack
I love it. I have tried many different bags- this bag feel right, fits right and is a quality product.Best Bag found for a 17" laptop
I love my bag, fits great. Tons of space and compartments for all my computer "stuff" and then my "stuff." I only wish the colors were more true to the pic. Not as light of a color as I would have liked.works great, looks great
Yeah, OK, you are looking at this bag because it is one of the very few 17 inch laptop bags with color and style. The tan and brown (latte and chocolate, excuse me) actually is quiet and sophisticated against a business suit. Do I have to haul around a black bag that looks like a spare tire? Nyet. The inside is bright orange, which seems weird until the first time you go digging for stuff and realize it is bright inside there and you can actually find the junk in the bottom. And it is functional. When I haul around over 1500 bucks of computer, I want a bag that will protect it and the necessary paraphernalia. I do NOT want to carry another bag just for my business papers. The Lowepro bag will hold a full 17 inch screen without squeezing it in, the power brick, two thick computer books, a notebook, mouse, other junk, and (sigh) spare glasses. Various pockets are lined with flannel-like material to protect the surfaces of small devices. Feels like quality. Other bags have open spocket for airline tickets. The Lowepro zips shut thank heavens. Everything is held securely and hidden from casual eyes, and even buckles are concealed so they do not catch on projections. Very well planned out, like the dozens of other bags Lowepro makes for professional photographers. Very glad I got it.Saturday, August 23, 2008
Hawking Wireless G USB Network Adapter with external SMA jack, Apple Compatible - HWUG1A
![]() |
Get new driver to avoid replug problem
An earlier reviewer (sosuml) provided some good information about obtaining a driver that would help avoid the need to unplug and reinsert this device at startup in order for it to be recognized by the system. I followed the references but didn't like either of the options provided. But on checking at the hawkingtech site I found an updated driver (March 08) so I downloaded and installed it and the problem is now solved. The performance seems a little snappier too. [...] Here's one other tip: trying to use this on my iMac G4 proved problematic at first since the orientation of the usb port forced the antenna to face downward into my desk, so I had to position it (awkwardly) to hang over the edge. However, Radio Shack sells a cheap little adapter that lets you swivel the orientation any way you want, and this solved that problem. Other than these two issues, I find the device to be quite worth the money and would buy another if I needed one.It works with eMac
All I wanted was an adapter to allow me to connect my 2003 eMac to my Airport Extreme network. Mission accomplished with the HWUG1A. It is too wide to fit into the USB ports on the side so I also needed a USB hub. The entire solution cost me less than $100. Setup was reasonably simple but not quite the plug-and-play setup that you'd expect if it were a true Apple product. Each time you restart the computer, you'll need to reconnect manually to the network but it's just a couple of clicks. Long story short, it allowed me to accomplish my goal of stretching out my next Mac purchase for another year or two.Like the Beverly Hillbillies rickety ride out west, so does this adaptor barely hold together
I own the original MacMini, which does not accomodate an internal AirPort card. My Mini also only reasonably accomodates OS 10.3.9. Therefore, my need for this product was admittedly narrow and specific. My previos fix for this issue was the ubiquitous D-Link DWL-122 uber usb adapter, which uses the same Ralink chipset that makes this little Mac-to-router tango work at all. While this usb network adaptor currently works, it took considerable frustration and expertise to get it to function in the slightest. The driver installation is difficult for MacUsers because it uses a lot of complicated network jargon that is more akin to a PC power user (not us happy, dumb Mac-ies who rely on expensive, simple bulletproof products). It is clear Hawking just took their cues from the PC version (HWUG1) and assumed they could "hawk" this product on the few Mac users who fall beyond the seamless purview of total AirPort architecture. After clearing this software hurdle, I found (by wading through screen after screen of confounding PC speak) that the adaptor was working only intermittently: it received most of my router's transmission seamlessly, but correctly transmitted few if any of my requests back. I went to Hawking's tech support website for this product. No dice. Found same confusing PCesque brochures in pdf that I held in my hang in paper form. I called Hawking's 24/7 support line. After a worthless conversation with an otherwise unpleasant Indian woman (who did little more than read prompts off her computer screen and, I might add, didn't share 1/1000th the investiture in my problem), I came away knowing that it was MY problem for not knowing how their adaptor worked with MY router. MY router is an AirPort Express...perhaps the most common router an average Macuser might choose. Did tech support (online and via phone) have a specific fix for it? No. I called two expert buddies. One works at a major healthcare conglomerate in networking. The other works for Apple. They got the job done. I repeat: a network professional and an Apple employee are required to get this junk to function. If you aren't connected enough to work this product yourself, I suggest you look for a MacFriendlier product. They both informed me that the whole thing would run a lot smoother on WPA encryption rather than WPA2 encryption. They were right. DON'T run this product on the safer WPA2 unless you wish to find yourself in my particular predicament.Driver recognition...
This adapter comes with the standard Ralink (the chipset which is used) wireless utility rebranded as Hawking. There is a problem however, some Mac owners find that after a restart the device is no longer recognized by the utility (the utility will read "No Device!!"), and you need to remove the USB device and plug it in again. A work-around for this can be downloaded here: http://mitglied.lycos.de/thomsmac/RT2500Replug.html From the page: "A solution would be a dummy driver, which occupies the stick at start-up. After a certain time the dumy driver would release the stick and simulate un- and replugging. So the original driver gets a second chance to be found. This is exactly what this driver does." Also, there is a package of the utility/driver that has the replug integrated, which can be found here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/index.php/t33896-0.html (I previously was using a Linksys stick, and this utility works with the Hawking as well.) As for the HWUG1A, its reception is just as strong as my previous adapter. The signal is slightly boosted if you use it in conjunction with the Hawking Hi-Gain 2.4 GHz Directional 7dBi Compact Antenna in problem spots, but you may not see much of an increase where there is not much interference between your router and device. I'm not sure if there is a real difference between the HWUG1A and the HWUG1, which can be found on Amazon for a lower price. Perhaps it's that this packaging reads "Mac compatible," and includes a disk with the Ralink Mac utility, which can be downloaded from the Ralink site. Finally, a removable antenna
I've been waiting a couple years now for a wireless manufacture to "get it" and realize there is a market for a USB wi-fi dongle with a detachable antenna. For all the PC Card versions out there with detachable antenna, it's taken forever for someone to come out with a USB equivalent. Finally, Hawking has, with the HWUG1. The version I purchased is the Macintosh version (HWUG1A). This comes with a driver from a chip maker called Ralink. Ralink has been doing a public beta with this driver for a few years now, and I was already familiar with it. It's in pretty solid shape now. I guess you could say it's ready for prime time. And now that Ralink are actually getting money for it directly from OEMs like Hawking, MacSense and a couple of others, the driver is likely to be maintained and kept in good condition through OS X upgrades. This is an important consideration because, unlike some other nework interfaces, a wi-fi dongle requires a driver apart from anything that comes with the standard Mac OS X install. The screw on antenna uses the popular and common SMA connector. Hawking sells several omni-directional and directional antennas that are compatible. I have also attached it to a Cantenna which works very well. But lately my favorite solution is to add a Tritium Flatenna reflector. I like the Flatenna because it packs so flat and slips right into my laptop case with my papers. Ironically, the Flatenna doesn't require a detachable antenna. But I still regard this feature as important. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase. I wish it had cost a bit less. I have been able to purchase D-Link wi-fi USB dongles, that I was previously using with the Ralink beta driver, for as little as $20. I paid over $50 for the Hawking. Also, the D-Link comes with a nice, weighted USB stand and extension cable. The Hawking does not. But with the included, foldable antenna, there is less need of a remote stand base.Mobile Edge Milano Handbag Large Black

Exactly what I needed
I just got a 15.4" widescreen laptop and it barely fit in my old bag. I had researched and read reviews of several bags. Finally decided on this one. It holds my laptop with a little room to spare and that is perfect for me. As a math teacher, I not only have papers to carry home but calculators as well. I can put everything I need for school in it and have no reason to carry a second bag - exactly what I needed. The inside is very soft and has pockets and places for all your needs. The straps feel secure and stay on my shoulder. With its stylish croco look it doesn't look or feel like it is a laptop bag. When I do fill it up, it does get a little heavy but that is expected when carrying so much. Before this bag I would have had my laptop case and another bag full of books, papers, etc. I received it exactly when it was due and had no issues with Amazon ordering (as usual). It is a large bag so be aware when ordering. They have a smaller version and other styles if large is not what you need.Laptop Purse
The bag is great, I like how much deep it is. My macbook isa 13 inch and it fits great. It also fits other documents, folders, planners perfectly. I also like how it separates compartments for different things. It's a narrow handbag so water bottles or anything round barely fits. However, it's been a great travel bag. It fits under the front seat on the plane. Its comfy to hold on your shoulder and it doesnt slide around like a regular purse.Great large laptop bag!!
The bag was exactly as described and holds my 17" laptop perfectly! It also has enough room for other items (like wireless mouse, power cord, etc.). The bag is very stylish too! Great price!!excellent
The product was exactly as described on the website. The service was first class, prompt, and I WILL order from them again!Extremely Large
I was so excited to get this bag, which I expected to be stylish and professional...however, it just looked like a very plain and huge purse. It was high quality, and the interior was very nice. However, I would have been completely embarrassed to lug this monster around.Friday, August 22, 2008

Built NY 15-inch Laptop Sleeve (Dot No. 8)
![]() |
Just as I thought it would be..
I have a 15.4" dell laptop and it fits just fine in this, I have read other reveiws saying they couldn't get theirs to zip, mine zips and fits perfectly. It looks like the picture and does all that I expected it to, hold my laptop.wow
I bought this for my daughter's laptop. She loves it! She does carry it in her backpack at school, but said that the cover is perfect for what she needs.Very Pleased
I just got a new laptop and needed a case for it, i looked online and this looked like the best buy. I was not dissapointed. I put my laptop in it after i use it every night and i know nothing will happen in it (like scratches or dents, ect.) I even put it under my laptop when i have it on my lap for when it gets a little hot.Nice!
This laptop sleeve seems to come in a more-sturdy and a less-sturdy version. I have both. This is less sturdy, but still cool.polka dot sleeve
it's a great sleeve for protecting your laptop computer. material is of neoprene so it's sturdy and waterproof. would highly recommend this for all laptop owners.HP Pavilion DV9830US 17" Laptop (1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, Blu Ray Drive, Vista Premium)

More Bang for your Buck
This machine has more features for a far less price than any other on the market. My last Hp lap top was my first computer I ever had and it lasted 8 years. Seeing how great that model was, I would never even consider buying any other brand.Good all around, with some excellent features = value for money
On the face of it the CPU is somewhat lightweight and so perhaps this is why another reviewer mentioned his desktop being faster. All told I'm impressed with it's wide feature-set - EVERYTHING works and no problems except the HP (not Microsoft!) volume control software (operated by the quickplay touch keys) sometimes leaves the volume bars on the screen and disrupts the machine. I've also not been able to create a recovery DVD - using the correct DVD-R. TV card works, DVD player, tons of RAM, 64-bit OS (and no compatibility issues), IE perfect, all slots, HDMI worked first time (and its AUDIO) :)), large HDD, 4 USB ports...etc, etc. Wireless perfect and fast. Vista works just fine on the machine - clearly a good match and it was up and running in just a few minutes. Though I'm a regular Amazon customer I bought mine from another vendor at around $200 less than Amazon and no sales tax.Excellent Laptop
This HP is a winner. 17 inches monitor, ability to watch TV, large keyboard, took no time to have it working, fast very fast graphics. I recommend this laptop and I normally use several laptops but this is the best. I only had a problem with Amazon pre-sales. They were unable to tell me if the card to watch TV came with the order. The card was included with the order no problem. I got an answer from a rep telling me the basically had no idea. Amazon needs to try harder answering customers questions. We buy a lot from Amazon and this was the first time that I got a "We do not know" kind of answer.HP Pavillion DV982OUS
Beautiful machine,no compliants to report.Like everyone else, not to crazy about Vista, but oh well. It's my first laptop,so far so good.Laptop
HP Pavilion DV9820US 17" Laptop (AMD Turion 64 X 2 Dual Core TL-62 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Vista Premium) Unfortunately this computer was quite disappointing in performance and picture quality. What was not disappointing was Amazon's handling of the return and total satisfaction regarding the transaction. Amazon will always be my first choice in the future. RFGWednesday, August 20, 2008

Thanks!
Product was in ok shape on arrival but i still would like to change names - need the password!GREAT I BOOK; GOOD SERVICE
The iBook arrived quickly; within two days of shipping. It was packaged very well in plastic suspended between two styrofoam ends. The condition of the iBook is exactly as described and works perfectly. Great price for a nice lil laptop! I would definitely use this seller again.Apple iBook G3
I love this little iBook and since I've been wanting a laptop for years, it suits me just fine.Caselogic SNBP-17 17-Inch Canvas Lifestyle Backpack (Green)

Awesome bag. Saving my shoulders
This bag has been great so far. I just got back from a overseas trip with this and my 15in MBP. The bag is great and good to travel with. It was very secure and felt comfortable to carry around. Plenty of storage and space. Wish it had another smaller pocket or a specific holder for pens and pencils. The two pockets are huge and things get lost.love this!
I have bought several things from Case Logic and this is one of my favorites. It has lots of pockets, it's made from a durable material and seems like it's very well constructed.Awesome Bag
Looked and looked and bought and sent back many a bag before I found a bag that would fit my over-sized 17 inch computer. I love this bag and would highly recommend it. It is very roomy. There is enough room for plugs and extra plugs, earphones, a laptop cooling base and folders etc.... The color is very urban and my students love it. I am extremely satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Green backpack a great fit for casual office/17" notebook.
At about 11 pounds (5kg) a 17" Notebook and gear can add up to a pain in the....back. Consequently, I had my heart set on a backpack to balance the load. After two unsuccessful tries with other bags, this casual canvas number caught my eye. This one is lightweight, yet seems extremely durable (I've had it almost one month at this writing). One note: the color is a more subtle, duskier, more olive green than either my home or work computer monitors display....but that was a good thing for me. The screened pattern is also more subtle and adds a touch of contemporary style that further differentiates this bag from the pack of unimpressive nylon bags that make up the bulk of offerings in this price range. Most important, my notebook fits perfectly in an appropriately protected space that's just right for my HP dv9700. A 15.4" screen would likely be right at home too, though I notice several backpack sizes are available. Both shoulder straps and flap are highly adjustable to ensure a comfortable carry. Zippered pockets are convenient and well positioned with one outside on the flap, and two more under the flap. I had no trouble fitting accessories such as power adaptors, with room to spare for the vintage paper binder I often carry. Overall, this case easily exceeded my expectations. Not sure I'd carry it when wearing a suit, but it's perfect for the 99.5% of the time when I don't. Would buy again, and recommend strongly, especialy to beer drinkers, who will find the built in bottle opener very handy.Monday, August 18, 2008
Spectec MiniSD WiFi WLAN (802.11b) Card for PDA, Pocket PC, Smartphones and Laptops
![]() |
still can't install it
I've had many problems and still can't find a way to install it and make it work on my Treo 750Spectec wifi for palm treo 750 wm6
i have an unlocked palm treo 750 with ATT 2.25 WM6 update. Product needs a wifi driver, download from below link [...] the driver works for wm6. works great with secure networks. card is a battery drainer, i world not blame the card due to lack of native support on wifi on palm treo 750. plu card in only when required to save battery life. internet even on a home router is not as fast as on laptop but atleast you wont be paying airtime when at home. note : remember to set router to network type B i.e. 2.4 MBps network. i have not tested G.Works with Moto Q9C for Sprint
I wont comment about how it sticks out about less than a quarter inch on the right side of my Q9c. Because I knew that is how it would look when I bought it. This card works great, connects to my WPA enabled wifi at home, and is lightning quick. I did have to get the driver from Spectec's website, as the included CD does not have drivers for a Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone edition. So if you have this type of phone it will work for you, not sure about the other Q9 models (ATT & Verizon) but it should work as well as its the same model (ATT Q9 already has wifi). Love it! Feeds my need for internet access on my Smartphone while staving off my need to suscribe to a data plan.Free Internet... Most of the time
I've owned this for almost 5 months now. I do not use it as often as I thought I would because it sticks out of the side of the phone. I keep the card in my wallet so that I will have access to it when I want it. It's come in handy several times at the airport and other places that have a Wi-Fi signal. When it works, it's great. I am using it on a Treo 750. I started with Windows Mobile 5 and it worked ok. It would disconnect and I would have to restart the phone to get it to work again. I've upgraded to Windows Mobile 6 and the card still loses the signal, but now, I just eject it and put it back in. There is a new driver for Mobile 6 but I have not installed it yet. I'm using the one that came with Mobile 6 - come to think about it, I haven't had to install any drivers for the card since I'm using Mobile 6 - that was not the case with Mobile 5. Like I said, when you have a signal, it's great. It's gives me free Internet and I can stream video and music without a problem. Get it, it's worth the money if you plan on using it.Laptop Battery for Apple A1185 MacBook Pro 13" Series, MA561G/A, MA561LL/A (White)

Excellent capacity and life.
While travelling, I can use my macbook for 6 hrs working on word prosessing and can watch about 3hrs of DVD playback with earphones. Ofcourse I have to optimise settings like turning off wireless and bluetooth (which aren't used while in flight), dimming the LCD, closing unnecessary apps etc. Macbook together with this battery is a good piece of engineering from Apple. Only four stars because the battery forms a part of external plastic and isn't something that slides into a casing. Disadvantage is a slight imperfection in fit.Sunday, August 17, 2008
Eforcity Premium Reusable Screen Laptop Notebook Protector/ Guard for Apple MacBook Pro, 15 inch (16:9) w/ Free Cleansing Cloth
![]() |
This deserves zero stars.
This product should not be on the market. There are two films to install and it's imposible to remove the air bubbles. No, matter how hard you tried-i tried to get rid of them for 2 hours-you cannot get rid of the air bubbles. You also don't want to press to hard like the instrution manuel says because it might crack the lcd display, or put one of those color spots on it. Since, it's a hassle to put it on to your screen; i just cut it and put it on the wrist rest of the computer and trackpad.Macbook Screen Protector
I think to apply all screen protectors, you must need to be patience. This protector works well for me and the quality is good. Especially the function of "reusable", it makes more valuable. ThanksOkay product, but too difficult to remove air bubbles
This product works great on MACBOOK PRO 15.4 inch screens, but I found the application process to be too demanding. The seller provides a small lint cleaner to clean your screen with, but it is nearly impossible to get your screen perfectly clean unless you are in an airtight room. The problem is that any little piece of dirt/lint/dust creates little air bubbles, which are impossible to remove. I then tried cleaning the "sticky" side of the product, but this only smudged the plastic even worse. So, after 5 minutes, i was out $20. The thing is completely useless now. Admittedly, the problem is not with the product--it is just as promised; rather, the problem is with the installation process, which is much too difficult for the "average" user. If you have a clean room, which is particle free, go for it.Great
No problems from this screen protector. I like the fact that it is reusable. If you don't make sure your work area is clean of floating lint and debris when you put this on... you'll notice tiny air bubbles trapped around particles of dust and hair, and this can get frustrating. Other air bubbles tend to resolve and disappear over the course of a few days. Right now, I only have two small air bubbles that I've given up on trying to get rid of after countless retries.Good results with patience.
This product works extremely well and gives off no glare. The fact that you can wash and re-use the screen protector is an additional bonus feature. Although this is an excellent product, I give it a four because it is a very time consuming process to get the protector to line up with the screen and then attached without any air bubbles.Kensington 62530 Contour Balance Notebook Computer Roller Bag

Great Bag
Just the right size for carry-on with room to slip a change of clothes in. I love the curved back that makes carrying the bag very comfortable for a woman. Rolls well, the handle telescopes easily and is adjustable. All in all, I'm very pleased.Compact Portable Office On Wheels
I am a consultant and travel widely. This means long corridors to flight gates, long waits for various strip searches and flight boarding, long queues at immigration control, and long queues to get taxis. I have tried several shoulder strap computer bags. They all had irritating defects which can be summarised as POOR DESIGN: they were shapeless, did not stand up but rather fell over, lacked storage space, or had too much space in the wrong places, didn't have wheels, had wheels but were too heavy and too big, had the dreaded two handles that just don't want to stay together, etc. And had no convenient place for your passport. Nothing's more irritating than standing at passport control and having either to constantly bend down to pick up a bag with evasive handles that keeps tipping over, or having it drag your shoulder and spine out of whack. I needed a lightweight compact roller bag large enough to hold my business paraphernalia for full office autonomy but no more (for longer trips, clothing and non business paraphernalia goes in a separate Travelpro 22" inflight roller suitcase but that's another story). After careful study, I bought this bag and am happy with it. Here's why: The main compartment holds a laptop plus charger, mouse, and files. The laptop fits in the main compartment and is suspended internally to avoid direct shocks. The mouse and charger fits in a Eagle Creek mini tube vertically off to one side. So the basics are all in one place. The file compartment is large enough to carry a few files (bulky files on long trips go in the Travelpro). This leaves enough room to carry say a toiletry kit or a gift the size of a whisky bottle horizontally on the top of the laptop and files. Between the main compartment and front compartment, is a small "pocket"; to hold a travel wallet. The wallet is always ready for passport checks, which avoids panic searches. It is an odd pocket confusingly situated near the main pocket, which in a way means it is concealed by virtue of its oddity. Since the travel wallet means nothing is in my pockets, I avoid the "emptying the pockets circus trick ritual" when going through airport check in and scanners. The front compartment is well organised with various pockets that hold USB tools (two mobile phones, Sony MP3 player & earphones, USB stick, and pens, in the top row; business card holders, and credit card wallet in the bottom row). I also put a red plastic shoe horn in so I can get my flipping shoes back on to my swollen feet during the "obligatory shoe removal disco ritual" when going through the scanners. There's a second half-size front compartment large enough to hold a sleeping mask, inflatable pillow, or paperback for flight access, or few sheets of toilet paper for those exotic locales. The oft criticised rear compartment is unfairly maligned. The mesh pockets on each side of the telescopic handle each hold a metallic sunglass case. Two Eagle Creek quarter cubes then fit in over the mesh pockets. One holds PC connectivity stuff, the other digital camera stuff. The rear centre pocket holds a calculator. This still leaves enough room for a newspaper or two as padding. The cubes are easy to pack, nothing gets lost since every object has a home and this means never having to hunt for anything. The shoulder strap attachment is awkward only if you plan to remove it and since I don't, this design flaw is irrelevant although the plastic is cheap and incongruous. The contour profile of the back of the bag really does ease the discomfort of the strap pulling on your shoulder. The telescopic T-handle is comfortable, works well and is sturdy. Its single tube construction means that it not only takes up less space in the rear compartment, it prevents the tottering movement of a bag pulled by a twin telescopic tube handle. The fact the rear compartment is slightly exposed when the handle is up is a non issue since all electrical components are protected by the Eagle Creek cubes. Finally, the handle when extended is useful to park a blazer and panama hat on when waiting in transit lounges. The plastic wheels are sturdy shock absorbing roller blade types, encased in a plastic base with a front ledge to ensure the bag is level at rest. The base is waterproof and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The rear of the bag has a sturdy strap which enables it to slide over the pull up handle of the Travelpro securely and rest on the suitcase stably. The bag is no wider than the Travelpro, and is narrow enough so that you can pull it down economy class airplane aisles without hitting the armrests. The centre handle, for when the pull up handle is not in use, is a single handle; soft and retracts when not in use. The full bag is not excessively heavy, and is small enough for regional aircraft bin racks. My only comment is that there is nowhere to attach your house keys for easy access. I jury rigged a solution by fastening a metal click-release keyloop to the bag with wire (inside the main compartment of the bag off to the left of the laptop). I also fear the stitching may not hold up over time, especially the liner material of the travel wallet compartment and zippers. This bag has greatly facilitated my travelling organisation as well as wear and tear on my shoulders and back. It is lightweight yet seems sturdily built. It enforces packing discipline to the absolute essentials. Unless it breaks, it seems to be the perfect mobile companion for a consultant.Love the bag...
I read other people's reviews and decided to try this bag. Can't say enough good about it. Light, stable, fits in the car good. Handy compartments. Agree the shoulder strap is hard to remove...I've solved that - I just leave it on there. It's a good bag, I'd recommend it.lots of room
I wish there were photos of the insides on Amazon or Kensington's website. It has more room than I thought it would. The back is especially roomy - it's divided by the handle assembly, bit there's exactly enough room for my Bose QuietComfort2 case on one side and my laptop powerbrick and food on the other side. The inside main compartment has enough room for TWO 15" computers (although only one would be padded), plus a few folders, mags or paperback books. Based on the ads and some other comments, I thought the styling might be too "girly", but it's not. The strap is hard to remove, so I just keep it short and leave it on. I was able to use the strap to attach it on my main luggage for wheeling through the airport. By itself, the handle is a good length (I'm 5'8").Poor quality
Although I purchased this bag last year, I just started using it exactly one month ago. I traveled with it for a week and, since I'm a student, have been using it as a book bag ever since. To my shock, it suddenly ripped about 4" along the zipper - doubtless from my overloading it, but it should have been better made. I will never buy anything from Kensington again.Saturday, August 16, 2008
USB Bluetooth Dongle Adapter 10M
![]() |
Excellant bluetooth device for Linux too
I run Fedora core 8 on my lenovo t60. This dongle works out of the box very well. I didn't have to hunt for drivers. Discovering devices works (this tests interoperability with other devices). File transfer at very reasonable speeds (350kb files in under 30-40 seconds). I am very satisfied with this product. Hence the 5-star rating to this dongle. It works easily and an excellent price
I have a Samsung BEAT cell phone. For a week or so, I had been trying to figure out how to use it as a modem to connect my PC to the internet. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work using the phone's data cable. I noticed that Dial Up Network is listed as a Bluetooth feature on this phone, so I decided to give that a shot. I went to Best Buy and the only USB Bluetooth adapter in stock was $39.99. I checked Amazon and decided to try this instead, since my order would be under $10 including shipping. I ordered on 07/13/2008, and the package was in my PO Box on 07/17/2008. I picked it up at about 4pm, and my PC was on the new Bluetooth DUN internet connection by 5:30. The only difficulties I ran into were configuring the setup do dial the correct number (#99* for me), and directing my web browser to use the TMobile proxy server address (216.155.165.50 port: 8080). Note: with TMobile, you also have to have their data package on your acount for this to work. Using this adapter with the included software, I am also able to transfer files between my phone and computer. Other features are supported, but I have not used them. As for the item itself, it is pretty small, so just be careful not to lose it. This shouldn't be a problem for me, since it just stays plugged into the back of the computer. Overall, it's one of the best tech buys I've made in a long time. I can't give less than 5 stars because the ordering, shipping, and product performance have been flawless to this point. I will update this if any issues come up.Completely incompatile with Vista
Vista will not work with this. You can move files from your phone to your computer, but not the other way around whatsoever. Don't waste the money.Bluetooth dongle works with skype
I was looking for the 100meter version but was told by someone at BB it doesn't matter because the client device (bluetooth headset) does not have the power to broadcast 100meters. So I looked around and decided on this one from Eforcity. Main reason is that I didn't want to deal with older versions of the bluetooth specs. I use this on my laptop to connect to my Moto bluetooth headset so that I can talk on skype wirelessly. Eforcity shipped quickly and packaged well. They use to sell the 100meter version but I'm told they only carry this 10meter version because its Bluetooth 2.0. I can walk to the other end of the library and still carry converstation, about 50feet.Belkin Neoprene Notebook Sleeve for 14-Inch Laptop (F8N047-DK)
![]() |
Decent
Decent sleeve for carrying around. Provides minimal protection against drops, but has a very soft, plush-ribbed lining. Is stretchy enough to fit many laptops, including oversized batteries.High quality for the price
Fits a Dell 14" Inspiron 1420 like a tight glove, with the one caveat being that I worry about the long-term durability of the zipper. Works terrific for protecting the laptop in a non-padded standard backpack. As for the smell, it's neoprene, what did you expect? If you are worried about this, go to an auto parts store and sniff some neoprene seat covers. If you can handle that, you won't have any problems with this.Great item for the price, careful on sizing
I purchased this item, Belkin 14-Inch Laptop sleeve(F8N047-BR) few months back. Before I purchased it I looked everywhere online regarding the sizing, since even though it says this is 14 inches doesn't mean it fits 14inch laptop. I found online a site that states Size: 14.75" x 14.5" x 1.5" Fits laptops: 14.5" x 10.5" x 1.25" I have a HP Compaq laptop with the Product Dimensions: 10.5 x 14.5 x 1.6 inches. The laptop fits into the sleeve fine, but it was stretching a bit. I would prefer a little bit bigger on the sides, 1/2inch or 1 inch, so it doesn't stretch the way it does so I can put other things in the sleeve too, like a pen. Just be careful when you order and check the sizing carefully.Looks better than it feels
The pictures and colors looked great. But the quality of the real product is very poor. The feel of the materials and zipper are pretty bad.Not for MacBook
It's cute, the colors are rich, zippers smooth, an it's made of lightweight yet thick material. However, that one inch does make a pretty big difference if you have a 13.3 MacBook like I do. It doesn't feel very secure in the sleeve because of that size difference, since there's an extra inch or so to spare in either direction, making the fit extremely loose. So just as a cautionary thing - this may NOT be a good choice for the smaller MacBook.Friday, August 15, 2008
Vantec P N Lpc-401Lapcool3 Notebook Cooler W 2 80X80X10Mm Fan
![]() |
perfect laptop cooler
This is my first laptop cooler. I bought this from local FRY's for $11+taxes. Have been using it for the last two weeks. If you keep your laptop in your lap while working just like me, then this works perfectly for you to prevent your lap getting heated. I am very much impressed with the performance of this lap cooler and I bought the same model for three of my friends. Just go for it. I am using this with a 15.4" laptop. It works just fine.Very good product
Very good product - what you see is what you get kind of a product. The two coolers are very quiet and they keep the laptop cool. No on/off button, plug and play. The noisy laptop cooler never started after using Vantec's cooler. I am using for almost an year now, no problems it all. Recommended. Cheap and worths the money.Awesome
We love our cooling pads. We have had no problems with these fans at all. They work great! I would definitely recommend them to others.Worst product purchased so far...
Hi, I have a very bad experience with this laptop cooler. As of this morning, I threw it into the recycle bin within 3 months of purchase. I would say that I should have brought those "made in china" laptop cooler as it's cheaper and more reliable. The main problem with the product is that the cooling fan fails to spin when I plug it into my USB port and will only work after a lot of twitching of the USB connector. Apparently, it's due to some defective design that cause this problem to happen. And it didn't just happen to me. Another colleague of mine who have brought the same product has the same problem as well. So far, I have tried to communicate with the manufacturer and as of yesterday, I didn't receive any respond from them. So to all prospective customers, I won't recommend this product as you can get cheaper and more reliable stuff out there.cheap plastic fan to cool your laptop.
just as the above suggests. cheap plastic. if your laptop is heavy, the thing might bend on you and if you drop it from a mere height of a foot, you might break or crack it. it takes up your valuable usb port and isn't all the quiet, esp if you dropped it or it's bent or it's on an angle which makes the fan all sound it's grinding. yeah... i ended up swapping the one i had at work which they provided with the one i bought for myself.Thursday, August 14, 2008
Marware Sportfolio 13" MacBook Case Black
![]() |
PERFECT FOR MAC BOOK
This is a nice little carrying case; soft, lightweight and elegant. It's very sleek and although there are a few side pockets, I wouldn't stash them with anything other than papers - the mouse/charger cord/etc - all too bulky for this bag. The bulky stuff fits because the nylon fabric stretches, but like I said - it's a sleek flat bag. In my opinion, it's a bit over priced, you can get the same sort of bag at FRYs, for $23.99 - but that doesn't affect my rating of the bag itself. It's a nice case.Probably the best case you will find!
I got this product a year ago and I have to say I am thrilled with it. It is perfect for taking my computer all around the world. It is light weight and literally everything I want to take with me fits in it. The small cords like the ipod connector, cleaning wipes and cloths, headphones, pad of paper, pen, camera usb cord, all fit in there without bulging bad at all. The other pocket is stretchy so anything can be put in it fast and firmly. While this isn't a hard case it still is enough protection from everyday moving and traveling. Some people say the power supply doesn't fit in the inside pocket but it fits fine. And with the padding all around it doesn't seem to put too much localized pressure on your computer. After a year there is no damage to my computer. No dents or scratches. This lightweight traveling case is wonderful. Oh you can also fit a mighty mouse and a electronic dictionary in the inside pocket too. Usually I have the zip pocket filled with all of that stuff mentioned earlier, loads of documents in the front pocket, then a mighty mouse Canon Electronic Dictionary, Power Supply, and the 3 prong extension + converter in the inside pocket, plus my mac. For a full year of global travel. And all is A OK. Hope you enjoy this product as much as I have!Works great
I got the Sportfolio for the MacBook, having used their product for the iBook before. Everything I loved about it is still there - the neoprene texture, cushy strap, and rubberized bottom. The only minus is that the case was not slimmed down for the MacBook; I wish it were more form fitting. Those with more papers to stuff in its interior pocket will find it perfect.Successful product
I bought this case for my 12.1 inch "HP TX1320US" tablet PC. My aim was carrying my 12.1 inch tablet PC with a practical use with some protection. This product has 2 elastic compartments which enable carrying cables etc. One compartment resides inside also to allow more vulnerable items like CDs, flash disks etc. It is made of elastic and soft material so that it can provide some protection more than expected with its hardened bottom. I find this product successful and I suggest you to buy this product if you have or plan to buy a 12.1 inch tablet or a macbook as it was designed for.Macbook case very comfortable

Died in 4 months
Bought this at the end of February, and by June it would no longer hold a charge. The phone says "low battery" as soon as it's off the charger, and dies after a few minutes of talk time. 2 stars because the battery did work fine for a few months...As it should be
I ordered and received in a timely fashion what I expected to get. The battery is performing as it should. I'm satisfied with my purchase.Batteries for Uniden cordless phones
The batteries I ordered came promptly. They had some charge, but I charged them a full 16 hours before using. They are working fine. I have not used them long enough to evaluate how long they will last. The original batteries started giving trouble after about 3 years.Great battery!
So far this battery has been working great. I've had it for a couple months and I haven't had any problems.Perfect Replacement
This battery is not a cheap knock-off as you often get shopping on the internet, it is manufactured by Motorola.Tuesday, August 12, 2008
Avery 3378 Personal creations textured heavyweight 1/2-fold cards/envs, 5-1/2x8-1/2, 30/bx

Who needs Hallmark?
Well, that's not a fair question. Lots of people need to have others create the words and images that they send to their friends and loved ones. The rest of us have our own ideas. We know what we want to say and how, or we find images of artworks that deliver some message uniquely well. This is for the rest of us. This form produces one card from each 8.5x11 sheet - folded, that's a bit bigger than a 5x8 file card, somewhat larger than most greeting cards. The cards take inkjet printing beautifully, they're lightly scored for precise folding, and, even with the costs of ink and whatnot, come out far cheaper than any store-bought card around. The Avery web site offers templates for aligning your art to the forms, clip art, and other free aids in using these cards. The templates take the guesswork out of laying out the card; I haven't tried the other tools they offer. I have only one minor complaint, that the envelopes aren't the most opaque - no big deal unless you have a sensitive message or want opening the envelope to reveal its surprise. That problem isn't big enough to stop me from using these cards or stop me from coming back for more. They aren't the fanciest around, but perfectly fine for most kinds of notes and greetings. And, most importantly, these cards carry my own thoughts, not some Hallmark writer's. -- wiredweirdExactly what I wanted
This product was exactly what I wanted. The price was good and the shipping was very prompt. I am very happy with the product and the whole transaction.Greeting Cards
I have been using these for well over a year. I make greeting cards for my church and I have made over 150 for them already this year, as well as my own cards. Made with this paper they look better and richer and are well liked by everyone. They print well and the colors are great. I have used many kinds before I found these. None compared.Fantastic!
Service from the provider was fast and I got exactly what I wanted! I make my own cards for a large extended family and these are perfect! The slight texture to the cardstock makes each card a little nicer than slick cardstock, at least in my opinion. I will certainly order it again.Avery Greeting Cards
My wife uses these cards in conjunction with her Printmaster program to create a variety of greeting cards. She really loves this product as it has an integral pre-fold crease which facilitates a pefect fold after printing.CTL E09XPH 9” 2go classmate PC Laptop (900 MHz Intel Celeron Processor, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB Hard Drive, XP Home) Bone/Grey

It's reality Check Time
It might look cute, and it does exactly what it claims to do, but look at the price. You can get laptops with stiffer hardware specs at Dealnews or others sites for the same or a little more in price. I don't see the rationale for paying that much for inferior hardware when vendors are still trying to get laptops from 3 years ago out of inventory, all of which have better specs than this cute little system. It does what it says, but that does not make it a value. On this very same site, you can get the ASUS Eee PC 900 16G which has double the RAM, a better screen, a 16GB SSD, an extra USB port and costs $50 dollars less. Looking at this makes me want to go put on a Steve Gutenberg fan-shirt and watch Short Circuit.Awesome!
This thing is great. Better than advertised. And we downloaded openoffice.org for free and can now do everything we normally did with Microsoft. Great for taking to class and doing work because it is so lite and can fit into a purse or bag so easily! And a 40g hard drive is plenty of room!Nice job
This unit is all it is said to be. Feels very sturdy and seems to be made out of material that would allow this to survive a fall from the table. Yes the keyboard is tight and takes time to adjust if you are a fast typer but this shouldn't be your primary PC. Great for kids or for traveling. The handle is what made it for me. However, I had to return my unit as it just couldn't make and keep a wireless connect. Amazon sent another one. It did better but still had only half the ability to pick up and keep connections as my 4 year old laptop. Since I needed this for traveling, this was not workable so returned again. I had the Unix version and the second unit consistently locked up. Made Windows look flawless. The speed of the unit was on the slow side but acceptable. Hated to let it go as the whole family loved it.Second-generation Classmate PC Great for Teaching Basic Computer Skills
This is a second-generation Intel Classmate PC. This Linux version comes replete with a wealth of educational and other software for children. The Linux Classmate is wonderful for helping a child learn basic computer skills. Some of the games teach how to use a mouse and keyboard. Other games teach math, logic, geography, etc. The Classmate PC is designed for children, hence the small keyboard. My six-year old loves it, but I like it too. What a Sweet System! Forget the Kids!
Truthfully, I bought this unit for the sheer gee whiz factor. It was also not that substantially more expensive than the Asus eee. The base eee costs around $300 but that includes a puny 2 GB HD and no webcam. For roughly $140 more I got a 60 GB hard drive and a webcam. While the Asus comes with a flash drive generally limited to about 8 GB or less (some newer models come with a standard hard drive), the Classmate comes with a 60 GB hard drive (on the Series 2 model, 30 on the first series). The Amazon website lists the HD as 40, but its actually 60. My unit was the bone grey model handle and covering with Windows XP Home edition and wireless capability. Straight out of the box this unit located my wireless signal and locked on. This unit is slightly more bulky than the eee but this is mainly because of better protection. The eee was an accident waiting to happen while the Classmate has rubber bumpers and a protective covering to make sure the kids dont bash it in. The Classmate is better built than the eee, though. My eee looked nice but creaked and groaned as the cheap plastic parts sometimes meshed. Using the mousepad on the eee was something of a chore, also, as it constantly clicked and flexed. The Classmate is definitely better in that respect. No flex, no play, just solid. As I later found out from some reviewers, the eee also has a problem with falling apart in any drop more than a few inches high. Although I didnt try it, Im sure the Classmate would fare better, not that I plan to drop it anytime soon. The only fault I could find is that the computer comes with no owners manual but you can get one for free at www.2gopc.com. Of note, the manual comes in German, English and French which may be why it isnt shipped with the unit (this would put it in violation of NAFTA which requires English, French and Spanish in the U.S.). My eee booted in 15 seconds with Linux on it but it took a good 2 minutes with XP and 1 GB of RAM. The Classmate took about a minute but Im sure this is due to the rather miniscule 512 MB RAM included. Since the machine utilizes a DDR chip, Im sure I can upgrade to 1 or 2 MB later (one chip instead of two so youll to buy your preference since you cant double stack the chips). Since both units utilize the Celeron chip, the difference in boot times is somewhat confusing when using XP, especially since the eees 1 GB of RAM should make a difference (but it didnt). Making this more confusing is that the eee uses a solid state drive while the Classmate utilizes a 1.8 PATA hard drive spinning at about 4,500 RPM. A sold state hard drive should always boot quicker than a rotating one. The eees keyboard was an absolute nightmare. It was way too small and difficult to use. The Classmates doesnt appear much larger, but it is easier to use, albeit not as easy as a standard keyboard. Again, its made for kids. Its much better marked than the eees and doesnt require a manual to figure out. Both manufacturers include a recovery disk for the unit without realizing there is no CD drive in either. Duh! How about a small flash drive instead of a CD for the recovery system? Both units accept external CD drives, burner or not. Heat is a problem with these small units but the Classmate doesnt have the heat dissipation problems of the eee. While using the eee it quite often became too hot to leave on my lap. The Classmate never seems to get hot although it gets warm. Part of this may be due to the leather covering on the bottom (which is held on by Velcro and is easily removable to access the RAM and HD). In the end analysis, Id choose the Classmate any day over the eee. I got rid of the eee after two months of frustration but Ill keep the Classmate!Monday, August 11, 2008

Some work, some don't
I bought 2 and had to send 2 back before I could get us both working -- and even now sometimes the system just locks up and I have to quit the chat program and launch it again. Tech support is great!Amazing web-cam
The camera is very easy to install and use. We can talk to our son out west and look into his eyes. Wonderful technology.Good for Skype
This camera works well for Skype but as most if not all of you know, Ichat is a different beast all together, since I was looking for an inexpensive way to video conference via Skype I'm fairly happy w/ this but the picture quality isn't the greatest. At around $33.00 including shipping I cannot complain. Alls well that ends well. Blessings RicoIts only for MAC
The product packaging fails to mention that it is made for Mac's only. I purchased it and had to return it.Good camera but EXTRA SOFTWARE PURCHASE REQUIRED FOR MAC USE
This is a great little camera and a good value for what you get. That said, if you have a Mac, you MUST *BUY ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE*. It should only be $5, but this isn't stated anywhere on the packaging - you may figure this out only after troubleshooting why it won't work with iChat/Skype. A good value for a little flexible, portable camera, but be aware that there's an additional cost involved.Kingston ValueRAM memory - 1 GB - SO DIMM 200-pin - DDR II ( KVR667D2S5/1G )

Good Performance
Updated my Acer Extensa from 1G to 2G and it works well. It recognized the memory immediately. After it was too late to cancel the order, I found the same thing from NewEgg made by Crucial for $15 less. Oh well. BLGreat quality for a great price
I purchased two of these 1 GB cards to replace the two half-gig cards in my MacBook (running Leopard), and they went in with absolutely no problem. My laptop runs much faster and more smoothly. You can't go wrong with this one!Terrible companies to work with
From my research it looked as if Kingston ValueRAM was a product that would be compatible with my IBM ThinkPad and Toshiba laptops. When I received it in the mail and tried to put it into the dock, it would not fit in either laptop. I spoke first with PC Universe and the customer service was completely unhelpful and rude. They offered no help whatsoever and told me to call the manufacturer, Kingston. I spoke with Kingston and they told me I could exchange it for a charge of over $200 when I only paid about $40 originally! That is not an exchange in my mind. The misleading information that indicated this would work for my laptops left me out $40 with two useless GB's of RAM.Hmmmmmmmm. . .
Unless you own a laptop or a REALLY old desktop this Ram is NOT compatable. I ordered 4 sticks of it ony to find out that it is 533 Mhz I dont understand why i have to click "more technical details" to see how many Mhz it is. This may be good for laptops but it is an absolute failure for new desktops. Btw heres my computer build. MSI Platium Mother Board, ZOTAC Ge Force 8800, Intel Quad Core 2.4 MhZ, Baracuda 250 GB hard driveDefinitely a value
I bought this for $20 here on Amazon with free shipping. It was a great investment, not only because of the price but although its labeled "valueram" it is just as good as any other standard RAM out there for notebooks.Sunday, August 10, 2008
Asus Eee PC 4G Surf (7" Screen, 800 MHz Intel Celeron Processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB Hard Drive, Linux Preloaded) Galaxy Black
![]() |
Works as expected
First of all, this "mini laptop" is not intended to be a high-end mobile system. This is not its purpose at all. If you're looking for something in the mobile category to author/encode music and video, compile lengthy source code, do intense number crunching, etc, this is not for you. The Celeron CPU inside this unit is not intended for such tasks to begin with. This system is intended as a mobile general purpose computer for daily tasks for an average PC user. In this category the eee PC excels quite admirably. The eee PC blows away any PDA I have worked with. Its claim to fame is that it is a real computer. It works great for browsing the internet, email, word-processing, as a document reader (PDFs, text files, etc), work with spreadsheets that don't require heavy number crunching, and other mobile office tasks. The Xandros Operating System it comes with is just as powerful as Windows XP (more powerful in my opinion). You will need to disable the "easy-mode" and install a kernel that supports more than 1 GB of RAM. This is the first thing I did when I received the unit. I purchased additional RAM, installed the RAM and a kernel to support it. Alternatively, the eee PC works perfectly with Windows XP. If you're more comfortable with Windows XP you will want to wipe out the Xandros install and install Windows XP. If you aren't computer-savvy, there is plenty of documentation online on how to do that. I kept the Linux Operating System because I have been working with Linux for many years so I feel comfortable with it. The good thing about the eee PC is that you have a choice of what Operating System you want to have since both Linux and Microsoft Windows XP are supported. You can even dual-boot the two if you really want to go crazy on it. I originally had it like that but I wiped out the Windows XP install because I needed the storage space. Ok, having stated the technicalities, I'll mention the only negative that I have found so far: battery life. The battery that ships with the unit could have been much better, especially considering the size of the eee PC. You'll probably not get more than 2 hours on each battery charge. The only way you'll get close to 3 hours is if you turn off wireless, which most people won't want to do under normal circumstances. That's a big negative right there. I have heard some people complain about the small size of the keyboard. I don't consider this a negative since you know what you're getting. As previously stated, this is not intended to be a computer for primary use. The eee PC is meant to be the bridge between a PDA and a laptop. In this category, it is an excellent device and well worth it. I'm a systems engineer and I use it on a daily basis to do simple administrative tasks to send email, browse the internet, read ebooks and write documents. When I need more power than what the eee PC can offer, I still use it to connect to my workstations and servers. I used to bring a laptop to all my conferences and meetings before I had the eee PC. Not any more. I take the eee PC to meetings and conferences now instead of the laptop. It is much easier to carry around and I don't need a big laptop case or bag. I highly recommend this computer for anyone who is looking for something portable yet powerful enough to carry out standard computer tasks.Great little machine
I have had my eee 4g surf for over a month and I like it very much. It connects to the internet superfast and i can take it anywhere. The keyboard is cramped, yes, but you get used to it. Its a mini laptop for basic tasks such as e-mail, messenger and surfing the internet.Works for Mac Users
I am a Mac user and consider myself technically challenged. I bought the 4G Surf model to use mostly for a portable writing device and for emails. I wanted something with a keyboard that was bigger than any PDA on the market. (I hate thumb texting.) I also wanted something that would easily fit in my daily-use tote bag. I hesitated ordering this device, because I wasn't sure if I could easily transfer Word documents between my Mac world and this little device (Open Office word processing). It works flawlessly. I save a doc to my jump drive and plug it into my Mac, click to open and No problems. I can edit a doc on my Mac, and later open it on my Asus, and again, no problems. I agree with other reviewers that it really starts up fast, and is super easy to use, even for the technically challenged. The ONLY reason I didnt give it 5 stars, is that Im sure I dont even know how to make the most of all its features. So this is really more about my ignorance than about any fault with the PC. I LOVE this little PC and wish I hadnt waited so long to purchase it.Asus
We love our Asus, and carry it with us most of the time. It sits on the kitchen counter ready to go whenever I need it. Great to have.Asus Eee PC
This item is great for someone who wants to access email while on the road, surf the internet and work on some files. It is very light weight. If your not familar with Linux then there is a learning curve. That for me was the only down side. Battery life is approx. 2 hrs on a full charge. Boots quickly and screen quality is great.Saturday, August 9, 2008

Amazing life
Amazing life. But make sure that the seller is stating that the battery is original. if it is then buy it.It is better then dekcell battery as some sellers sell the original dell battery much cheaperDell Inspiron 6400 Lithium Ion Battery. The original price is $140. I got it for $90.No problems at all. It works for average 2.5 hours.picture doesn't match battery from Computer
The picture used for the product does not match the actual battery taken from the laptop... While it is close, there is a notch in the actual battery, and the fact that it is missing from the picture for the product makes me want to look elsewhere (it might not fit in the computer!).Friday, August 8, 2008
Built NY E-LT15D07 Laptop Case with Removable Sleeve (7-Dot)
![]() |
Great Bag!
This product is great for toting around your laptop, cords, and other items. The material has some "give" to it, so that you can fit all of your items in, but it never stretches out. The sleeve, though it can be removed, is more effective if you leave it in the bag, using it as a divider/organizer in the bag. The sleeve is hard on one side to provide stability to the bag and soft on the other side so that it fits and securely holds all types of laptops. On the soft side are two large stretchy pockets, perfect for holding cords, and a smaller stretchy pocket, nice for holding a cell phone. This bag is too cute!
This bag is unique, sturdy, and has plenty of room. Besides, I get tons of compliments on it every time I carry it. Who could ask for more? By the way, it goes great with this notebook sleeve: Built NY E-LS15-D07 13-15 Inch Laptop Sleeve (Dot No. 7)Great full size laptop bag
I bought this bag for my daughter (I bought myself the smaller version). It's roomy enough for a large laptop and has the pull out divider that my smaller bag has, but this one has more room for more disks and cords. It is also the neoprene and stretches if necessary. She raves about how great it looks and she doesn't have to lug the usual black laptop bag around.I Love this Bag
Like my title states, I love this bag. My boyfriend bought this for me because I kept talking about how I needed a new computer bag and how this was so cute. I like my old bag, but it was heavy and bulky. This bag hardly takes up any space...and it lays flat when I'm not using it, or it can be folded away. It's also really light so it doesn't put strain on my shoulders like other bags I've used. My only complaint is that there is not much padding to protect your computer. That could be dangerous if you bump into things frequently or have a tendency to just drop your bag on the floor when putting it down. I guess that's why they gave the sleeve? However, it's not padded like other sleeves and really doesn't protect like you would think. One side is hard while the other is exactly the same as the bag itself. Plus there's no zipper on the sleeve (there is one on the bag). This lack of protection and the odd sleeve is why I rate this 4 out of 5. Had the sleeve been better and more like normal ones that you would find it would have gotten the full 5. Still, I love this bag and use it everyday.Caselogic SNMB-15F 15.4-Inch Fullsize Canvas Messenger Bag with Laptop Storage (Gray)

great laptop bag!
I received the bag way before the expected date for it to get in! I love this bag, it's plenty big for all my things. Great padding for the laptop and very stylish. would definitly recommend!! It's pretty big too, bigger than most messenger bags. So keep that in mind if you want a smaller bag!Way cool laptop bag
I was a little wary of buying a laptop bag without seeing it in person first, but I am really happy I went ahead and got this one. It's very well made and protects my 15.4" Dell Inspiron perfectly, plus it has a lots of little pockets on it that are perfect for holding other things - my power adapter, USB drive, pens, etc. Not to mention that it just looks really cool. I've gotten quite a few comments on it at work and whereve else I take it. I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase.Thursday, August 7, 2008
PC to TV Presentation Converter, Laptop Mac VGA to Video VGA2TV 1L7
![]() |
Very good picture quality
It works exactly as advertised. It was much smaller than expected. The connections are color-coded making it easy to use. The only thing you need to do is set your Laptop resolution to 1024x768 or lower. The picture quality on TV is really good.too bad it doesn't work
Too bad it doesn't work for me. I saw so many good reviews. There was no manual. It must be my luck.Quite good
I'm quite happy with this product. It did everything promised, and is great if you want to play PC games on a TV screen or watch movies or TV shows from Netflix or Amazon Unbox. It doesn't provide sound, so a good purchase to use with this is something like this, which will allow you to play sound from the computer over your TV's speakers. It is lacking in documentation, with only one fold-out sheet in barely-English, and when I first plugged it in the picture was terrible, but using the buttons on the unit I was able to drastically improve the picture; it's actually so good now that I can almost read a Word document at normal size from my couch. (I basically just cranked the sharpness as far up as possible and fiddled with the "Flick", whatever that means, until it was good.) It includes a VGA cable, so you can connect the computer to the box and the box to your monitor, and a way-too-short composite video cable, which is basically useless unless your computer happens to be less than 2 feet from your TV; I couldn't find a composite video extension cable anywhere, and S-video gives a better picture anyway. I eventually used an S-video cable, but that will run you about another $20 at RadioShack. Other than those two things, this is a very good product for an excellent price.Better then expected.
I had read the reviews on a few others before I settled with this one. They were really quite mixed and I didn't know who to believe. From what they had said I expected flickering and very fuzzy picture from all the converters on the market. This one is really awesome. Basically just plug and play. I had it out of the box and working within just a min or two. It re-sets the resolution automatically and using the fine tuning buttons is a sinch. I got a really good quality picture from it, although text is hard to read, if at all possible. Videos almost look better on my tv than on my laptop. Color quality is outstanding and it has never flickered or lost connection. Using the composite video I was able to hook the converter into my satalite receiver instead of using an RF mod. which saved me 30 bucks. All in all, I am very impressed with this converter and would recommend it to anyone.no fuss fun
I unwrapped; I plugged; I played. I use this tool in my classroom with my digital microscope camera Carson ePIX Digital Microscope to display tiny critters for my students to oogle and draw. They can see a 22-inch carpenter ant, sugar crystals, moss, or the relief & shadows on a coin. I also show them examples of art and design on the internet.NZXT ACC-NT-CRYO-S 120MM Aluminum Notebook Cooler Adjustable Fans (Silver)

possibly saved my laptop's life...
I am one of many college students who invested in a Dell. I purchased a fully loaded E1705 for what was a bargain price at the time. The thing came fully loaded with an nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GS. Unbeknownst to me at the time was that Dell was _literally_ cramming the 7900 GS into the E1705s. Thanks to some poor design choices on Dell's part (to save money, I assume), many people have been having problems with their video card overheating. I happen to be one of those lucky folks. To make matters worse, the stock fans in my E1705 have not been helping. I have been running a program to control my fans and monitor temperatures (I8kfanGUI), and even with manual temperature control, I still have been unable to regulate the temperature of my GPU and CPU. It was to the point that I was getting artifacts (video glitches, lines across the screen, etc.) just from working in the Window's environment. Forget gaming; any game that I could start up would result in my computer crashing several minutes later. The artifacting in-game prior to the crash was extreme, and on reboot my screen had random pixels all over it. Needless to say, I did not want to shell out the cash to replace the video card, and I did not want to pay money to ship my laptop (out of warranty) to Dell. For the past few months I have been researching 17" laptop coolers, but prior to several weeks ago I had not found anything that seemed like it would work well with my 17" Dell E1705. Well, in the past few months there has been a surge for coolers that can house 17" laptops, and both the _NZXT Cryo LX Notebook Cooler_ and the _Zalman NC-2000_ surfaced as two potential contenders for my laptop. Obviously I went with the NZXT Cooler. ***What is not so obvious is how I made the decision, and this is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART WHEN CHOOSING A LAPTOP COOLER.*** The location of the CPU and GPU on my laptop are towards the _back_ of the laptop, and because of this the fans that dissipate the heat from my laptop are also in the back. The "hot spots" on the bottom of my laptop are _TOWARDS THE BACK_. After looking at the location of the vents and the fans on both the Zalman and the NZXT cooler, I realized that the Zalman would cool the middle and bottom parts of my laptop (where there was little or no heat), where the NZXT Cooler would focus on the back where my laptop generates the most heat. Obviously, I wanted to get the cooler that would cool the area that is the most hot on my laptop. It seems unfair to fault a cooler that does not cool your laptop if the fans are in the wrong location. There is no "one cooler fits all" for laptops, and because of this you have to pick your cooler accordingly. There are certainly some _better_ coolers on the market, such as the Zalman and the NZXT coolers, however the value of the cooler will vary by laptop and location of the laptop's hot spots. *** Having said that, the _NZXT Cryo LX Notebook Cooler_ is a BEAST. This thing eats heat! The cooler is made out of solid aluminum which acts as a giant heat sink. It has three 120mm fans which provide an upward draft of cold air. There is rubber on both sides of the top of the cooler to lift the laptop slightly to help dissipate heat and prevent the laptop from slipping off the cooler. The cooler lifts the laptop up from your desk and tilts it slightly; I personally love having a laptop oriented with a slant, however I do want to throw caution to the wind. And how is performance? My idling CPU temperature has dropped by almost 10 degrees Celsius! My GPU temp is idling at 53 degrees Celsius in the Window's environment, which is a marked improvement from the 60 degrees Celsius I was idling at before. And, after 30 minutes of playing Team Fortress 2, my GPU temp _peaked_ at 63 degrees Celsius. That is pretty substantial considering I was hitting temps of 79 degrees Celsius previously. The artifacting has gone away. The cooler has some great aesthetics. It looks solid and feels solid. The unit is built like a tank, and should have absolutely no problem supporting a 17" or 19" laptop. The solid aluminum design means that it weighs a lot, approximately 5 pounds, which means that this is not a cooler you will want to travel with. It folds up, however that does not do much in reducing bulk. As far as mobility goes, this is not a cooler I would want to travel with or use in my lap. The cooler has a volume-control-type-dial that allows you to adjust the fan speed. I read some reviews complaining that the cooler is loud, however I disagree. At the lowest fan setting the cooler makes a gentle hum that matches the sound your laptop's fans make when they are running on low. At the highest setting, the cooler matches the noise your laptop would make if it was running its fans at the highest speed. I noticed that when idling in Windows, there is no reason to leave the fan speed on high. In fact, I turn the dial to the lowest fan speed. One complaint might be that the cooler's fans cannot be turned off with the dial, however this can be resolved by simply unplugging the unit. The cooler comes with two cables; a USB to USB, and a USB to DC. It appears that you can power the cooler using the USB to USB. However, I have both the USB to USB and the USB to DC hooked up. In order to take advantage of the expansion USB ports you will need to have the USB to USB hooked up. I am still experimenting with the power draw; it appears that my laptop has no issues powering the unit. However, with some laptops that do not output enough current via USB, you may not be able to run things like your iPod from the NZXT Cooler's expansion USB ports. (*One idea I'm toying with is ordering an AC-DC to USB adapter. Or, as many might know it as, an iPod wall charger. I would be able to plug the USB to DC chord into the wall charger, and this would provide the full 5volts DC to the cooler, and possible increase fan speed*). Conclusion: This cooler was _MADE_ for my laptop. It has fans located exactly where my laptop's hot spots are. It has lowered my GPU and CPU temps considerably. The unit is built like a tank, and looks very aesthetically pleasing. While it may be slightly on the expensive side, cooling a 17" laptop is serious business, especially for me. For now, the NZXT has resurrected my cheapo Dell E1705. Do some research, and invest accordingly. If your laptop is very hot towards the back, this cooler might do the trick.Big and Quiet
This is a large aluminum notebook cooler. Individual fit will of-course wary, but the cooler holds a Sony AR790U, for example, ok, with room to spare. I think this item should be fine for most contemporary large multimedia notebooks. The fans on the cooler are quieter than I expected, and there is an adjustment wheel, presumably to adjust the fans' speed. The fans are powered from a DC port; the cooler comes with a cable to hook-up the DC port to a USB port (a regular USB cable is also included). The item is equipped with a built-in USB hub and is foldable lengthwise. The box that I got did not include a users manual or any kind of instructions besides what's written outside the box. It would be nice to know about different options the manufacturer recommends for powering the cooler. Other than that I think everything is top notch; this is a very good product.very nice.
This is a really good product. I got it for my husbands 17 inch laptop and it fits it perfectly. It runs very quetly. And you can use either the dc connection of the USB connection. Using the USB to USB connection allows you to use the cooler as a USB hub as well. Besides being very useful it looks really cool.Wednesday, August 6, 2008
Cooler Master NotePal Widescreen Notebook Cooler ( R9-NBC-AWAK )
![]() |
Better than others I've tried
I have had this cooler for a couple of months and this is the best cooler I've found for my laptop. I have a large 17" widescreen Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi6 and it has rubber feet on the bottom that make it difficult to find a cooler. Although this cooler isn't perfect (the feet hang off the back- but securely- and the front feet keep the laptop level on the cooler)this is by far the best cooler I've tried for this machine. The computer sits on the cooler securely and although the base of the cooler itself is at an angle, the computer sits level.Good product...not perfect
This laptop cooler does a good job overall. It is wide enough and provides a stable platform. The fans are virtually silent due to the low rpm's. However, this is also the cooler's biggest shortcoming. The fans just don't provide much airflow. This product would be much better if it had multiple speeds. It does provide decent cooling, and for most people will be enough to provide the relief they are looking for. Another caveat, if you are planning to move this cooler around much, it is quite heavy and most people will find it cumbersome. The cooler is well-built and works as advertized. It just falls short of being a great product.Does not cool at all
I got this cooler for my Macbook pro 15 inch. The fans are definitely very very quiet, but I think the reason why they're so quiet is because they blow so little air out from the fans. The air that's being blown out is equivalent to someone gently blowing through their mouth. The made the air output absolutely negligible, and so the heat on my Macbook Pro is still very hot. I didn't notice a drop in temperature at all. The aluminum cooler actually started heating up as well. This cooler did not work for me. So that's $30 down the drain.Exellent: 8 degree celsius drop during encoding.
Macbook Pro 15 inch. 15 minutes into encoding would raise the CPU temp to 77C and the GPU diode reports 85C. With notepal cooler, the temp for CPU is 69C and the GPU Diode is at 73C. "Temperature Monitor" was used to measure temps. Why buy this when the smcfancontrol app can increase fan speed and cool your laptop? 1) Revving your internal fans can shorten the life of your notebook fan leading to an annoying replacement and possible voiding of the warranty 2) Trying to rev the fans up in Windows mode (bootcamp) requires using smcfancontrol in OS X then rebooting into windows.A Balancing Act...
I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 and the Notepal is not deep enough, front to back, for my PC to sit in it properly. It is also heavy. Especially when combined with my PC. Picture me trying to sit and hold my PC, this cooler, and do a balancing act to hold it all together without dropping the whole thing. It will keep your computer running cool. But the reason I bought it was to keep my leg from burning up while holding my laptop in my lap. The 2 fans are relatively quiet and are supposed to be good for 30,000 hours. It comes with a USB cable and needs no other power source. If you only use your laptop on a desktop then this might be good enough but lap use is precarious at best.Tuesday, August 5, 2008
HP 2133-KX868AT 8.9" Mini-Note PC (C7-M 1.2 GHz Processor, 1024 MB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive, Vista Home)
![]() |
Fantastic computer.
I bought this laptop and replaced the 1 GB of RAM with a 2 GB. I bought the two GB. at newegg.com for $39 and had it installed at Geek Squad in Best Buy for $40. Even with the addition it still came out cheaper than the hp website. It runs at a nice pace. I love the size I can take it anywhere without feeling weighed down. The keyboard is real nice. The speakers are pretty loud for being such a small laptop. The screen is real glossy, I love it. I have to say this is a nice laptop to have if you're a girl on the go.HP2133 Min Notebook - a great travel note book
As many have noted this laptop gets very warm, but the included battery actually elevates it so air keeps circulating. And of course there is no optical drive. But if you do tech support and need to travel on site or travel to meetings, you can not beat this one.Love it!
I love the Mini Note. It's great, and small. You can carry it to anywhere you want. The keyboard is normal size, so, you dont have many difficults to write in the notebook. The bad thing is that the screen stretches photos a bit. But there's nothing bad besides that. Camila [Neuza's daughter].Great build, wrong OS
I bought the HP2133 together with my wife, as we always had to share one laptop. So now the HP2133 is solely for her usage. Anyway, we went for the model with the Suse linux pre-installed (is cheaper, and Windows XP and VISTA are not the best choices for a low spec machine like this, be warned), honestly as a linux fan I have to say that this particular Suse linux version is not good... at all. Fonts look terrible, and the OS is incomplete. Unlike the much better new openSUSE 11 linux with GNOME. Anyway, for those of you who are reading these reviews of the HP2133 in order to decide whether to buy one, my advise is this; In my personal opinion the build of this little machine is absolute great. Its sturdy, looks stylish and professional and the outer side is made of metal... no cheap plastic. Unlike most of the other mini laptops on the market. Storage space is very good, processor is a bit slow, but fine if you just want to do some office work, emailing, browsing, watching Youtube clips/movies and such. BUT... install a lightweight linux version. My recommendation is to install Xubuntu, which is a very nice looking, lightweight (and that is VERY important on a simple machine like this), userfriendly linux version. (very suitable for first time linux/pc users) It has all necessary programs, such as for office work etc included... and its 100 % free and legal. (open source software) Simply follow the instructions here to install: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HP2133 (scroll down to "How-To: Installing Ubuntu 8.04.1 from CD on the HP 2133 Mini-Note" and you will be up and running in no time. Hope the above information will be helpful. Thank you for reading.Lame out of the box, Awesome when customized.
I ordered the SUSE Linux 120g, and it arrived dead. That is, it would fail in its attempt to boot. "GRUB loading, please wait..." and then "Error 17". So, no boot process. Tech Support told me to install an OS via USB CDROM which I didn't have ($100 at the cheapest). So basically I was officially out of luck. However, I finally managed after many hours to install XP Pro using a 2GB USB stick, and I downloaded all the official 2133 windows xp drivers from HP. Now it runs GREAT. People complain about video, video works perfectly. People complain about streaming video, streaming video works great, but not perfect. I even managed to (though I have not really tested it much) install and run World of Warcraft on it. It was chunky but with some tweaking I'm sure even that will be playable. Physically, it's beautiful. The keyboard is tons better than I would imagine on a machine this size; I can touch type without difficulty. There is perhaps some wasted real-estate with the speakers on the sides of the screen; could have made them smaller to make room for more screen. Also, the touchpad is small and far too easy to hit while typing. Fortunately, with a single button you can toggle it on and off. It does get warm, but every laptop I've ever owned gets just as warm. PS: I would not imagine running Vista on anything, let alone a not-so-cutting-edge machine. Don't bother. Linux or XP. Also, if you're not prepared to do everything from a USB stick, you should invest in a USB CDROM. Also, I'd recommend a sleeve or bag to keep dust and lint out from all the little nooks and crannies. (It comes with the computer, a battery, a three-prong power cord, and a very useless repair CD, as there's no CDROM)ASUS Eee PC 1000H 80G (10" Display, 1.6 GHz Intel ATOM Processor, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Fine Ebony

The greatest laptop ever
Ordered the eee pc 1000h from ebay, got it on 7/25. Having played with it for almost a week now, i can safely write something for this little wonder. Originally I was planning to buy the msi wind because the 6 cell wind has very similar configuration as eee1000h, but it was 150 dollars less expensive(6cell wind $499 vs. eee1000h $649). Later on msi announced 6cell wind won't be available until late august/early september due to battery shortage, and eee1000h price was reduced by $100. Since eee pc series already have pretty good track record and msi wind is relatively new, I made a quick decision: placed an order on ebay and never regretted my choice since then. The eee1000h comes with windows xp home sp3. Booting takes about 30 seconds. LED screen is pretty bright. Basically I can get very good lighting when brightness is set to about 30%. It comes with two partitions, 40GB each. After charging the battery, the first thing I wanted to do is to install ubuntu hardy 8.04 on the second partition and set up dual booting. I messed up with disk partition the first time, so I decided to try the recovery dvd. Man, the recovery is FAST! believe it or not, it took only 4 minutes 30 seconds to recover to factory pre-installed state. At first the ethernet and wireless didn't work under ubuntu. After fixing the drivers(credits to http://ubuntu-eee.com/index.php5?title=EeePC_901), everything worked perfectly(except Fn keys, only brightness control works under ubuntu, but I can live with it). One thing i noticed is that ubuntu seems to be more powering consuming than windows xp. With xp, my battery shows 6h 35m at 100% when doing nothing, with brightness 30%, wifi on and bluetooth off. With ubuntu, the same condition shows only 4h 18m. I guess that has something to do with xorg/compiz always running in the background. The keyboard feels pretty responsive, I can type really fast on the keyboard. The CPU is powerfull yet very quiet. It doesn't get so warm as previous eee pc series. The lid hinge is sturdy and the black ebony case feels solid, although it gets my finger print very easily. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. Greatest laptop ever!!Great Netbook for Road Warriors!
So I purchased this Asus Eee 1000H model in black at an electronics chain store in Taipei, Taiwan. I believe the local prices are slightly cheaper than the US retail price, but not by much. Don't worry. I'm a MAC enthusiast. I currently own the regular MacBook and do all my hardcore writing on it. But when I travel to meetings or conferences, I needed a smaller laptop. Yeah, Apple's 12" macbook is still too bulky imo. I'm female and with 3 inch heels, every little pound counts! Besides, other than my regular handbag, I hate to carry an additional laptop bag. So Eee was my best bet. I looked around similar offerings by HP, Dell, and Acer. For the specs, price, and the roomy enough 10" screen, I opted for Asus. Did consider MacAir, but it's just too expensive right now, and I'm waiting for the 2nd generation to roll out with glitches fixed. 10" screen is the smallest I can go, because with smaller Eee models, I can't type without making a ton of mistakes and doing so hurts my hands. The power up speed is extremely fast. Love Windows XP. This model comes with Microsoft Work, not Office. But for basic writing, and excel I don't mind Works. Connects to my broadband in a heartbeat, detects wireless networks too. The aesthetics is great. I love it in black. White can get dirty too easily. Yes, it does accumulate fingerprints, but you can easily wipe it down with the cloth they've included in the package. Powerful, flexible, inexpensive, little unit. I love it, and it comes with a black microfiber sleeve to store your Eee inside your bigger carryon. Great for kids too. But for handsome 6 feet tall 200 pound men, I suspect not too suitable! =)Monday, August 4, 2008
Logitech V320 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks- Grey
![]() |
Excellent For the Money Mouse
This Mouse is just great but could be improved by the addition of 'forward' and 'back' buttons. Setup is easy and I like the 'power off' feature when the receiver is placed in the mouse receptacle. Money well spent!Excellent wireless mouse!!
This is an amazing wireless mouse for the price paid!! If you want a small manageable mouse for your notebook... look no further!!Great Mouse
I bought this mouse for my son's girlfriend for a graduation gift. Shipping was fast arriving sooner than I expected. The size was perfect for her hand. She has had only good things to say about using it with her laptop.Good Quality - Problems with touchpad though
If you have a touchpad (Synaptics driver), make sure you know that these two drivers fight. You can adjust the sensitivity on teh mouse, then your touchpad is messed up - adjust the touchpad, then the mouse is messed up. There is no middle ground. If you plan to use this mouse exclusively, go for it, if not, do some searching on another brand that will work with your existing touchpad...Great fit for the hand! This delivers.
As a woman with small hands, I love this mouse. It fits my hand perfectly ergonomically. Hooked up to my laptop immediately and went to work. I love the USB connector storage in the mouse; it saves so much battery life. I have absolutely no complaints about the performance of this optical mouse, only kudos,iLap Laptop Stand 15” W for MacBook Pro by Rain Design (10025)

It saves me from the sharp corners!
I only bought this for one reason. The sharp corners on my macbook pro were killing my wrists. I know I'm not supposed to be sitting down with my wrist resting on the edge, but that's how it is. This thing is saving my wrist, and that's that!Great Product, but a bit pricey?
I love what the product does, but I feel like for the price I paid it leaves something to be desired. Starting with the good stuff - the iLap is the perfect accessory for the MacBook Pro and has made it so much easier for me to work by reducing neck and wrist strain. The clean lines (without the wrist pad) compliment those of the laptop. It's great that they included the gripper pads to be used in case the feet of your laptop wear out. I'm definitely glad I have it. The not-so-good stuff - I was a little disappointed when I first took it out of the box. Not impressed by the cover on the wrist rest. Looks like the same material used on a cheap sofa pillow. It produces this clattering noise (from the back leg) when you're carrying it. I have to wonder if the fact that you can't secure that leg is going to cause a problem later on down the line. Maybe the solution to making this the PERFECT $50 product is to snug up the connections on the back leg and include a selection of snazzy "slip covers" for the wrist rest. Or maybe I should get busy and make my own? ;-)Ignore Negative Reviews-iLap is Great!
If you are thinking of buying a laptop stand, your search is over. The iLap is an excellent product that will extend the life of your computer. Let's look at the big picture: the iLap might seem expensive at first, but consider how much you would pay to replace your laptop. The iLap is designed so you can use your computer in a more comfortable way. Plus, it pulls heat from your laptop, and heat is the enemy of any electronic device. A cooler computer runs more efficiently and should last longer. As you read some of the other reviews, you see that some people have given the iLap a good score, but they complain about the price. That is short sighted. I find the iLap to be a simple and effective product, that will give me more quality time with my computer. That just makes good sense, and I think the iLap is fairly priced. As far as quality, I have had no problems with construction or function. This stand is solid and sturdy, and the cushions stay in place. The front one is easily removed and reattached when necessary. The iLap is comfortable to use either on a lap or a desk. I noticed right away that my Mac runs cooler than ever, and the fan rarely comes on. That shows that the aluminum base removes heat from the computer. Honestly, I looked at every laptop stand on the market, and the iLap is clearly the best choice. Whether you have a PC or a Mac, you can choose an iLap to best fit your computer. My iLap is a superior product and is fairly priced. My advice: buy it, and don't pay attention to those negative reviews. I like mine so much that I bought one for my daughter who just graduated from college! The iLap is a lot like my Mac: IT JUST WORKS!big price cheaply made
I bought this product for my wife and inlaws. Everyone that uses it loves it. Looks stylish and funtional but made very cheaply. As some others also pointed out that I was reading. There are other options out there but none as nice or funtional. I would recommend this product to anyone who owns a laptop. I would only ask that Rain Design makes it a little better for the money. I can just see those rivets comming out and me having to frankenstien it back together. I live to go to the hardware store.Nice piece
Pros: Im using it for my 15" Toshiba Laptop and its lightweight, cool and practical for use. Cons: PriceSunday, August 3, 2008

Great Laptop
This is a great laptop except for the mouse. The mouse isn't too bad, but if you put your fingers on the click thingy without pushing down on it, it clicks and after awhile gets annoying. This laptop (I'm writing this review on it right now) doesn't overheat very fast, but has low battery life but that can also be changed. Too anyone who wants to buy the product with the case, don't. The laptop comes with a case in the shipping box. I just found this out yesterday so now i have wasted $32.45 on a case I don't need. I would give this laptop a 5 star, but the mouse made me give it a four star. Great for watching movies, surfing the web, or typing files. (I installed some games on it, all very demanding, and it still runs great!)PNY OPTIMA 4GB (2x2GB) Dual Channel Kit DDR2 667 MHz PC2-5300 Notebook / Laptop SODIMM Memory Modules MN4096KD2-667

Go for other brands
I bought this one and as mentioned by other reviewer, vista home premium recognized only 3 gb RAM. Then I herad from one of my friend that CORSAIR's VS4GSDSKIT667D2 is optimized for vista. I bought that one (Corsair 2gb*2) and now my laptop's OS (Vista home premium) recognized full 4Gb and is working fine.Works well... but may hit on battery life
I had no problems dropping this memory into my 2.4 GHz MacBook Pro, and it's made working simultaneously with Mac OS X and VMWare Windows XP Pro much easier. I gave 4 stars because I've noticed that my battery doesn't last as long with the PNY 4 GB as it did with the native Apple 2 GB. A friend suggested I watch for that, and it seems to be the case though I didn't do objective testing. I don't know if it's a matter of more transistors to power, less efficient design, or both. Either way, I'm not going back to 2 GB, especially for less than $100.Excellent ram at an excellent price
Works perfectly in my Dell M1210 laptop, at an excellent price. The issue with Windows not sensing the full amount of the ram is due to a limitation of 32 bit Windows, not of the ram. It has made a definite improvement in the performance of my computer.Lightening speed at a great price!
I bought a pair of these and doubled the 2GBs that my HP dv6500t came with. Two important things (both positive.) 1)Unlike the experience of some other users and reviewers, my Vista 32-bit system shows all 4 GBs (not the three the same OS shows with 4GBs loaded into my DELL desktop) and, more importantly, 2) The speed of the laptop is now lightening fast. It was no slouch with the 2GBs, but now - well, if you appreciate speed you'll find this very modestly priced upgrade well worth your while. No problems whatever. No complaints, works as described
I've used the memory for a month now, and so far so good. To add to what the other reviewer has stated, if you use a 32-bit Windows, you will not see 4GB of Ram. Windows will only recognize 3GB +. To solve this problem, you'll need to install a 64-bit Windows.Saturday, August 2, 2008
Belkin 15-Inch Messenger Bag (Jet/Cabernet)
![]() |
Belkin Laptop Bag
I think that this bag is going to be perfect for my 15.4 Inch Dell Inspiron Laptop. I even matched the bag color with my spring green laptop. I particularly like that there are numerous pockets. There is quite a bit of padding to protect the computer inside. The handle seems like a comfortable way to carry the bag, but there is also a built-in shoulder strap that stores nicely in an outside pocket.Slim, Neat and Beautiful
It's What I was looking for... My MacBook Pro fits elegantly in it and it has a nice small bag for the Charger :) A good deal for the price.Nice Bag
I like this bag. It is exactly what it said it was. I wish it was a little bigger but from reading other reviews I knew it wasnt going to be. It is a nice bag, laptop fits perfectly, and its stylish.Very nice bag for the money
I purchased this bag for my daughter's new laptop after searching the net for comparable ones. Some of these messenger type laptop bags cost almost as much as the laptop itself (ok, that is a slight exaggeration) and are quite heavy. This one is very light, durable and the perfect item for a college senior since it would be appropriate for future. It fits her laptop perfectly. All in all, a very nice bag.The perfect messenger Bag
I just got a new computer and needed a case for it. well this happened to match so I gave it a shot. It happens to have a felt like lining on the inside were you put your notebook to keep it from scratching up. Also with the wide band it makes it essayer to carry with out it cutting in to your shoulder.Friday, August 1, 2008
Original Dell PA12 AC Adaptor Inspiron 300M/500M/505M/600M Latitude D500 D600 5U092 PA-1650-05D AC Adapter
![]() |
Be Careful!
Be careful! I have a Dell Inspiron 600m laptop, which this is being advertising as working with. But I looked at the label included in the photo here and compared to my Dell AC adaptor. The model #s are different, but more importantly, the specs are different. Both are AC: 100-240 V; 1.5 A. Both are DC: 19.5 V. BUT...mine is DC: 4.62 A (amps) and the adaptor for sale here is 3.34 A (amps). I believe that could cause significant damage to your laptop. It was very good of the seller to include the photos, but this does not fit an inspiron 600m--at least not one sold in May 2004. Perhaps newer or older inspiron models do use this adaptor. If all the specs match your laptop, then at least you can't hurt your computer (I think...); the only remaining problem is whether or not it fits.Does not work with the D600
I ordered this for the Dell Latitude D600 - and it doesn't work with that model. I noticed when it arrived that it was a little larger than the one that came with the laptop, but tried it anyway. An error popped up on my desktop "adapter could not be identified, battery will not charge". A similar comes up on boot.SONY CR2032 Equivalent CMOS battery
![]() |
Perfect
quick arrival, great price, I was worried I ordered the wrong battery for my weight watchers scale, but it was perfect. Very happy compared to store prices of $5 +,Sony CMOS battery
Simply put, the Sony CR2032 CMOS battery performs as an excellent replacement CMOS battery in my Alienware laptop computer. So far so good
Radio Shack wanted $5 each for these batteries. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $10 for two tiny batteries. I got these instead, and so far they are working good. I only needed them for a stupid digital tire pressure gauge that cost $20. Next time I'll pay more attention to how expensive the battery replacement is before I buy something like that.Perfect for my Apple Remote
After using my Apple Remote daily to control music from across the room, the battery finally died out, refusing to work farther than a few feet away. I was about to leave for Radio Shack to pick up a replacement battery, but it was much too wet out so I decided to check if Amazon would carry this. Miraculously, Amazon does carry almost anything. It's a typical CR2032 battery (commonly used on PC motherboards as the CMOS battery) and while it says SONY Equivalent, it still gets the job done. The battery is a VARTA brand exactly as seen in the picture and comes in a small zip lock pouch labeled "B-310 3.0V Lithium CMOS BATTERY." It's been working fine for the last few days, but I have yet to know about it's longevity. If you are a Prime member (like myself), it's a pretty nice deal if you need one of these. For $1.49 including two day shipping (it came in a small box surrounded in bubble wrap shipped 2-day FEDEX and actually came next day), you save some money as opposed to a grocery store or Radio Shack which sell this for around $3 anyways. I don't know if Amazon is really making money off of this deal as I'm sure two day shipping is more than $1.49 in the first place. Nevertheless, it's cheap and it works.filler for free shipping...
Need something under $2 for free shipping? This'll work exquisitely. Yes, I used the word "exquisitely" for a battery review.
