Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - White

Do Not Use With Vista
This mouse is a great form factor, tracks really well and overall would be awesome except the SetPoint software does not work with Vista contrary to what their website says. I've just spent that past two hours trying to figure out why Vista kept hanging when I would reboot. Finally I decided to check out the Logitech forums and found that SetPoint could have been causing the problems. Sure enough, uninstalling it made my laptop start behaving. I know Vista isn't great but Logitech has obviously known about this problem for a while and yet they're not fixing it. Sending mine back.Great Mouse for Laptops.
I bought this mouse for my wife's laptop. It works great on any surface. Very high precision as well. It is also very comfortable, Not too big and not too small. Occasionally we have had to redetect the driver for it on the laptop when booting back up from a shutdown running Windows Vista Home Premium for it to be detected again, but it has only happend 2 times.Nice Bluetooth Mouse
I've had this mouse over a month now and no complaints. It works like a mouse should and does not have that stick plugged in to a USB port on the back of my computer like other wireless mice do. It is very accurate and also doesn't have the red laser light on the bottom. The drawbacks if any are: 1: It seems to hesitate a second when you haven't used it for awhile. Kind of like it went to sleep and when you move it, it has to wake up. 2. I also run Sun Solaris and it will not work with that operating system. I believe that is a Solaris thing more than a mouse thing. Lack of driver... Over all I like it; it has a good feel, and shape. It is small without being to small. I would buy it again.BEST MOUSE EVER
I love the size of this mouse, I am a mac user and the mac mouse is too big for my hand. I am always on the computer so comfort is a big deal. I love the side tilt to scroll left and right, the battery power has been excellent bc I never shut it off. I have no complaints. Definitely worth the priceNot happy
The mouse feels OK and moves smoothly. However it has 2 big negatives: 1) It doesn't always recognize my Dell laptop after it (the mouse) has been turned off and On. 2) As other reviewers mentioned the rubber on the side started peeling off after several months. In short I would not recommend it.Monday, June 23, 2008

Easily broken reciever
At first use, this is an excellent mouse. It moves fast, has a respectable distance, has good resolution and is at an affordable price. If I would have written this review 3 months ago I would have given this product a 5 star rating. After three months of owning the product, the receiver has broken. This receiver is a target for any slight bump that you might encounter when using a laptop. The USB and plastic housing have little resistance to impact and can easily be bent and broken. This is a great product if you are looking to use it on a desktop but on a laptop you should consider something with a more robust receiver.Great product
This mouse works perfect. The size IS right! I am a male with average to large hand size and this mouse feels awesome. I found out about it while reading a review in the Wall Street Journal in April. I hope this helps.Logitech V220 - Highly Usable - Nano Transmitter Would Make It Great
A very usable mouse, if it had a nano sized transmitter, it would be great. Very comfortable, good size, no fancy features, but a great and very user friendly mouse. Good value. If it had a pint sized transmitter, like the nano mouse, it would be great. I have the VX Revolution also, it has more features, but this little mouse is preferred.Logitech v-220 mouse
Pro - excellent buy, had one at work for a couple of months so I got one for my laptop at home. Con - none yet.I love this mouse!
When my last cordless mouse bit the dust after only 3 months, and several battery changes, I bought this one with much anticipation. I was not disappointed. The compact size is easy to handle, and it doesn't run out of room on my ergonomic mouse pad, which was a problem with larger mice. It responds well, and while it doesn't have a bunch of added features, I don't need them. I have to say that the fact that it hasn't run out of batteries is a huge bonus, since I am a high volume user, so to speak. There is a feature you can download that tells you how your batteries are doing, and whether it is time to change them. I didn't have a problem with battery installation, but perhaps it was because I was forewarned by other reviewers. I thought it seemed pretty straightforward. The price was great too. if something tragic happened, like my kid dropping it in water or something, I would immediately buy another.Sunday, June 22, 2008

Low-quality product
I bought this item to replace the original power cable for my Inspiron E1505, which was fraying. Yet every thirty seconds, this item would click off for a second and then come back on, which was highly distracting and probably not good for my computer. Additionally, having the computer plugged in often made the pointing device malfunction--it would move with difficulty and click like crazy, making work impossible until I unplugged it. I complained to the company, which quickly sent a replacement. The replacement works, but it also makes the pointing device malfunction occasionally, and it's beginning to fray after only a few months. This really is a cheap piece of junk. Was ok till just a moment ago..
It was going great for a while, working just as well as the original and all of that, but a few minutes ago, I heard it buzzing and I looked down. The charger was about 30 seconds from igniting and was smoking rather nicely. The connection between the power cord and the box on the cord was the part causing the problem. It had been sparking randomly, but then it would stop after one or two sparks. I'm just going to return it and get one from somewhere else.Junk
Don't buy this! It made my screen flicker non-stop and their is no easy way to return this product. It barely charges my computer and it was definitely not worth it. I'm sorry I didn't listen to the bad reviews but I needed it and did not think it could be that bad.Screw Dell
I bought this a long while ago, just haven't reviewed it yet. It has worked for the past 4 or 5 months FLAWLESSLY. The biggest difference is the price. Second biggest is that it is a little no-frills. I was a little concerned about buying an electronics item over the internet from a no-name company. But I have to admit that I'm 100% satsfied with the product. It even seems to generate less heat than my old Dell charger and the connector that plugs into the back of the computer fits better. When I trip on THIS power cord, the cord just pops right out of the back of the computer. Whereas with my old Dell charger, the connector was too tight a fit and would result in the laptop falling on the floor or the cable/cord getting tore up (which resulted in the power cord order). I'm very pleased though. Would recommend. P.S. Usage on the power cord is very heavy. I'm on the computer about 6 hours a day, every day. The product is always plugged in and always working great. Not good
I have had this cord only about 3 months at the most. It is already falling apart. Now I have to buy another one already.Saturday, June 21, 2008
Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks
![]() |
Easy to Use, great video quality
In less than 10 minutes out of the box I was able to use the camera to have a video call and give my long distance family a tour of my new house. The camera performed very well, great video quality (in HD mode) while walking around with it clipped to my laptop, in and out of different lighting, focusing on me, then scenery, then right back to me. The clip on the camera takes two hands to get onto something, but once clipped on, it stayed on and didnt wobble as I walked around. The cord is a good length for use with a laptop (not too long, but not too short). The only non-positive comment is about the stand that comes with the camera. It tips very easily and detaches from the base very easily (so you might need to glue it if you plan on using the stand). On my crowded desk, this won't be of much use to me, but the camera clips to the screen on my laptop so no big deal.Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks Review
I relied on the reviews of others before making my purchase of the QuickCam. Once I installed it and used it I found why everyone was so high in their praise of the produce - it truly was at the top of its field. Thank you Logitech!Good Web Cam but..................................
I ordered this Web Cam so that I could communicate with my mother whom is Deaf will I was away at college I did a lot of research before making my purchase and found this cam to have a lot of positive reviews and it was a reasonable price so I bought it will because I have to communicate with my mother by using Sign language. I then realized that this Cam is not good for that though the picture is very clear when I move my hands its a drag and i have to Sign very slowly It can be somewhat a hassle but over all its a nice cam I will have to try to invest in another Cam that will best suit my intention of use. Thanks LogitechWorth the money
The camera is great. I use it with Skype. Tried it with Yahoo, small picture and low quality. You have to have a fast computer and a really good internet connection to get the best out of it. The full screen video with Skype blew me away. We use it all the time to keep in touch with the kids. The other thing I found was that you should have good light in the room, makes a big difference.Mini Miracle
It's my first webcam and I am using it with my HP desktop. The picture quality is great, the face tracking feature is amazing. Since the stand provided is a bit flimsy, it moves with the slightest touch. The base of the stand should be heavier for it to be more stable. Overall I am very satisfied.Friday, June 20, 2008
Apple MacBook MB403LL/A 13.3" Laptop (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive) White
![]() |
Not for the Faint Hearted
My black MacBook 4,1 came with a white power adapter and cord. I fear this will send many Mac connoisseurs running from the room screaming. I was also disappointed that no video adapters were included.Great Product and Excellent Service
The Apple MacBook is user-friendly and portable. When playing around with it for a bit, the space bar started sticking. After several days of this, we took it to the nearest Apple store to have it looked at. We were most pleasantly surprised at Apple's excellent service. They swapped and gave us another laptop. The MacBook has a sleek, thin design with ample screen and so much easier to use than a non-Apple PC. Coupled with the fact that the MacBook allows one to work in Microsoft Windows as well, is a very big plus. Couldn't be more satisfied with the product.Best laptop I've ever owned
What is there to say? The last Mac I owned was in 1989, it was an Apple II+ (I kid you not). Since then, it's been PC after PC for me, until now. In March 2008, I needed a new laptop, and I purchased the Black MacBook. So far, I am a seriously happy camper. A few tweaks to make sure I could use my favorite Windows programs (ie also installing Windows XP via VMware Fusion) and I'm very content. PROS: * Mac OS X is intuitive, user friendly, and easy to understand. I am a big fan, and I've only had this laptop for 3 months. The more I use it, the more I like it. * The screen is stunningly beautiful. It is the clearest, brightest, easiest screen to read I've ever had. Set it next to any PC laptop, and there is no comparison. * The "MagSafe" magnetic power connector is perfect. I've never knocked the MacBook off of a table, even though I've pulled the cord out many times. * I didn't have to leave behind my killer Windows XP programs! I installed VMware Fusion, and now boot Windows XP right from within Mac OS X. Very VERY nice and handy. My only suggestion is to bump the RAM to 4GB before installing VMware Fusion. Works stunningly well. * Battery life (and power management) are stunningly good. I get a legit 3-4 hours of battery life out of this laptop, compared to 1-2 hours out of all of my old PC laptops. * User friendly software built in such as iMovie. My wife needed a DVD created for work. An hour later, I had a DVD with menu system, her photos, music, etc. Everybody loved it. * User friendly System Preferences and settings in the Apple menu. Much better than Start --> Settings --> Control Panel in Windows. Just a better design and more user friendly access to settings. * GEEKY: The fan does not vent on the bottom! So your legs aren't blocking it and feeling warm fan air. Instead the fan vents up the front of the screen. Very VERY smart, and I rarely hear it running. * GEEKY: Programs install as one .app file. Sure there are settings hiding in various places, but Mac programs usually involve one BIG .app file. * GEEKY: Better flash drive integration. This is similar to Linux (and obviously UNIX), drives are mounted and dismounted. No two or three clicks to "safely remove hardware" like in Windows. You just "eject" a flash drive (or CD or other drive) and remove it... as it should be. * GEEKY: Encrypted disk images. You can use built in software to create password protected "Disk Images". These can easily be mounted and unmounted, protecting sensitive files. * GEEKY: Terminal, Automator, the Dock, and Finder. Well made robust tools that allow my "inner geek" to customize and do whatever they want. CONS: * No card reader built in? This is a VERY stupid idea on Apple's part. Almost every PC laptop now comes with a built in card reader. MacBooks should also. * Only two USB slots. Would be nice to have 3 or 4. Not the end of the world, but could be improved. * Cost. Mac people always tell me about TCO "Total Cost Of Ownership" and the like when justifying the higher cost. Fact is, the MacBook DOES cost more. Don't let anybody tell you it doesn't. But the more I use it, the more I think the extra cost is worth it and the less the cost bothers me. "You get what you pay for" is what obviously comes to mind. For lack of a better term, it's an elegant machine. * That's about it. Seriously, there aren't really any other major problems with this laptop. ON THE FENCE: * The keyboard is (at first) very different coming from a PC background. I have since grown to love it, but it is an acquired taste. Now that I'm used to it, I am impressed with how easy text "flows" and how much less effort I need to press keys. However, white letters on black keys is tough in lower light conditions sometimes. Overall, the MacBook is what a laptop computer really should be. Little details individually don't mean much, but when many subtle touches are added together with a powerful stable user-oriented clean UNIX based operating system like OS X, the result is the best laptop I've ever had. I will be sticking with Macs for a long time to come I think. It works, it's easy - what else would you expect from a Mac?
Admittedly we're longtime MacAddicts since the 80's, but even so we were very impressed from the beginning with the MacBook. We bought this for our daughter who's going to college. It's easy to pack around, it fits in just about anything. Right off the bat we noticed how bright and clear the screen was when comparing it to my 3 year old 17" PowerBook G4. The new IPhoto simplifies organizing large amounts of photos. I also really like the new mag cord, it's a lot safer than the other cords that have a chance of breaking off inside the computer (we're had that experience). Unlike our Apple computers, our Dell PC has crashed a number of times. Our Apple computers have always been very forgiving and easy to operate (we only read the directions if there's a total emergency). Our Apple computers have never gotten a virus, while the Dell has had literally hundreds. However, it's still a good idea to protect yourself with something like a Norton Utility. My PowerBook had a problem that made it impossible to create a DVD. We transferred it over to the MacBdook IMovie and in no time had the DVD ready. The new IMovie takes a little getting used to after the old format, but it was pretty easy to figure it out on our own and we were done in minutes. We are very satisfied and now my husband plans to get one too!My Second Apple Laptop!!!!
What can I say? I bought my first iBook in 2001. It worked so well, never crashed, never caught a virus, that I can see no reason to own a PC, at ALL. When it was time to get a new one (not because my iBook was gone, but because I wanted a DVD burner and a faster computer) I chose the Macbook. I opted to go with the 160 Gig HD, but I maxed out the RAM. All I can say about this computer is WOW. I'm as happy, or happier than I was with my iBook. I have used PC's all my life, until I got my iBook, and in fact, still use them at work, and my husband still won't give his up. But I get frustrated, upset and it always seems to me that to get from point "A" to point "B" on a PC, you have to go around the block three times, to get to the same place you can on a Mac by going next door. It's that easy. This computer is snappy. It boots up, and down really fast. I like the hard plastic case, it's very durable. One of the things I really like about my new MacBook is the two finger scroll on the track pad. It took me a few weeks to get used to it, but it's so natural now, and I really love this feature. The magnetic cord is very cool, we will see how long it lasts, since the one thing I did have to replace twice on my iBook was the power cord. Wireless connectivity has been wonderful, and not only do I pick up my signal, I pick up all my neighbors as well and I live out in the country. The battery on it seems to last about 4 to 5 hours. I've already done some tuning up to make it run even faster than it already did. I'm finding I am really enjoying the shiny screen. OSX is such a nice system to learn to use, if you are new to Mac's, it won't take you long to get up to speed. I never considered getting the Macbook Pro or Air because of the sort of computing I do, but both have their great qualities, but don't discount this little computer either, it's a well made machine that makes computing fun, not frustrating!Thursday, June 19, 2008

Exactly what I needed
Thanks so much! This was exactly what I needed for my trip to the UK, works great and easy to add to any baggage, thanks again!Just the ticket!
I needed a product like this for a recent vacation trip to Japan. Having lived there, I knew they used only two prong, non-polarized outlets. This item let me use my laptop PC for email and Internet connections from the hotel. It appears that it will also allow a three-prong USA male plug to work in Europe and many other countries.Does Not Convert Voltage!!!
This is a fairly useless device. It does not convert voltage, and since most other countries use 220 volts, you will simply destroy your shaver or cell phone if you use this. This fact should be prominantly advertised, and it is not.Don't be fooled when they say "Works will all types of outlets in the U.S., Europe, Asia, China, and the UK"
I was taking a trip to Ireland and even though this product claims: "Works will all types of outlets in the U.S., Europe, Asia, China, and the UK" It does not in fact work for the power outlets in Ireland, which I have found are a three-pronged, blade style outlet. Think of the U.S. grounded outlet, except for the Irish ones are generally larger and all three conductors are like thick blades. Needless to say, this unit was useless to me unless, of course, I needed to use it as a projectile. Couple that with the fact that it does nothing to adjust the power cycle and what you have is a perfectly designed paperweight designed to look like something more useful. Do yourself a favor and buy from the experts on international travel, not Amazon, just because they are the first thing that pops up in a Google search. I got burned, maybe I can help you avoid the same.Works in Italy and France
Used it in Rome, Paris, Florence and Venice. Worked great with Camera charger, Blackberry charger. Does not convert, so don't use with hair dryers.Wednesday, June 18, 2008
Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 -Slate
![]() |
Good ..not great...
Takes a while for the reciever to latch on to the signal after you press the Connect button... till then the mouse pointer will move frame by frame... takes about 15 to 25 secs. Pointer does skip at times... other than that its a good buy...move on
My second wireless mouse puchase from microsoft. And my last. Behaves and functions well as promised,on both my ancient dell battleship and new macbook but beware, the fit and finish is barely adaquate to any kind of physical adversity. Unit is as delicate as an eggshell. After it emerges from its plastic blister shell, you are on your own- there is no way to protect it from any kind of travel environment it was designed to function in.My advice is to keep looking for something else!Died Out Of Nowhere
This mouse was a great solution for my laptop as I have carpal tunnel however yesterday it just died out of nowhere! I received it as a Christmas gift so I've had it about six months. I tried replacing the batteries and reconnecting but it is just dead. I'm glad I checked here on Amazon to see that I'm not even close to the only one that this has happened to! Other downsides: - I DID have to replace the battery within the last six months so Microsoft's claim that is lasts 6+ is bogus. - The USB is a poor design. It sticks out so when I sit in any position other than my laptop being on my desk I have to be careful about not knocking it. I really did like this mouse despite the downsides - it's just so preferable to using my touchpad because of my carpal tunnel. However, now that I'm seeing that other people are having the same issues I was, I'm just going to get another brand.Perfect, works just like my desk top model,
I originally ordered the 6000. Canceled that after reading the reviews. I'm glad I did, as this one works perfect, fits like a "glove", and does it just like my desktop mouse. The range is about 2-3 feet, but I can't read my laptop screen from any farther away, so its perfect. If in doubt, and you have money enough for only one... this is it. I even went to a couple of stores and all the sales people, have said that the 6000 has lots of problems.Favorite Notebook Mouse, Cool Color
I have both the 3000 and the 4000 models. The 4000 feels a lot more sturdy, but it's too hard to use the scroll wheel button so I never use the 4000. This is my 2nd 3000, and to be honest, it was an impulse buy cause I liked the new color. My old black 3000 still works just fine after 2 years. I'm amazed at how long the battery lasts. Very infrequently, each of my 3000 mice becomes sporadically non-responsive. I have to press the "connect" button on both the mouse and the USB receiver, which isn't an easy feat.Antec USB-Powered Notebook Cooler

not a perfect solution... but definitely works
Your laptop will sit on this unit, so it is a bit clunky moving it around and such. Since portability is a main reason most of us have laptops, this is a bit of a pain. However, this cooling unit does exactly what it is supposed to. My laptop used to get so hot I could not put it on my lap w/o discomfort, and the keypad would get so hot it burned to touch it. All of that is over now, the unit stays cool... and I don't worry about a shut off due to over heating. I'd would prefer a laptop that doesn't overheat, or a cooling unit that connects to the laptop. I realize though that this cooling unit is made to work with all laptops, so it gets a 5 star review. However, why don't laptop manufactures solve this issue somehow, or at least offer a cooling unit like this that can 'snap on?'The Best Laptop Cooler
I'm a bit of a fanatic about my Thinkpad laptop, and one of my chief concerns has always been how to reduce the heat level. I can't say enough about this Antic cooler. I tried brand after brand, but nothing has stood the test of time like it has. Its been going on two years now, and despite heavy use on a daily basis, it shows no signs of slowing down (knock on wood). It reduces the temperature on my T60 by about 5 degrees, and makes the palmrest cool to the touch after hours of steady use. The only area of concern is the USB chord, which is not the most sturdy, particularly where it attaches to the cooler. You just have to be careful with it, that's all. With a modicum of car, this maintenance-free product will last for a long, long time and will add years on to your laptops life. Highly recommended.Keep my laptop cooool!
I bought this for a Dell 17" laptop. While it's not as big as the laptop it works great. I place it under the intake fan and the hard drive. My laptop used to constantly blow hot air now it's nothing but cool air. Some may think it's a bit loud but it doesn't bother me at normal conversation volumes.works well for my laptop
I purchased this before reading any of the reviews, and then after it seemed to perform quite well, read some of the positive and negative reviews. The vacuum issue of many of the negative reviews makes sense, and I wondered about this myself when I first operated the unit. The bottom line is that this unit works well for my computer, a DELL Precision M6300. I haven't noticed the vacuum issue with my computer. Keep in mind that it overhangs all the way around. Also, I use the four rubber feet on the top of the platform to ensure 1/4" clearance under my laptop. I think if one doesn't use these rubber feet (you have to install them yourself; very easy) then there might not be enough clearance and the vacuum created by the Antec might conflict with the computer's own fans. For my computer, the fans draw air in from the bottom, but along the rear sides of the computer which are overhanding the sides and back of the Antec, so they probably can never be in conflict with the Antec's fans. Frankly, this configuration probably ensures that the Antec fans and DELL M6300 fans work to help each other. Also, the little rubber feet seem to ensure that my computer doesn't slide around; it is firmly located on the Antec. Another issue others have commented about is the poor connectivity of the USB connection. I haven't seen any problem whatsoever with this. Keep in mind that I don't need to use the pass-thru to access other USB devices. My computer has six USB ports, so once the Antec USB is plugged in, I don't need to fool with it, and that might help avoid connection problems. I find the two speed settings useful. When I do heavy duty number crunching I swtich to the high speed setting, and this seems take more of the thermal load off the computer and my internal fans slow down. I have one criticism of the speed switch. It is located so close to the USB cable connection on the Antec, that it is a little difficult to reach around and move the switch to change speed settings on the fan. The other thing about this unit is that is really just for flat surface use, not lap use. It you do mostly lap work with your laptop, this may not be the best unit for you. Final conclusions: While I appreciate the criticisms of others, my guess is that some of what they experienced may be laptop dependent. My laptop works well with this unit, and after frying another DELL workstation notebook computer because of overheating, I am satisfied that this product will protect my now even more expensive replacment laptop.very best one!
Very quiet, reliable. I bought an antec laptop cooling pad a year ago. It is still work now. Very quiet very cool. Recommend to try it.Tuesday, June 17, 2008
Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks
![]() |
really nice mouse
i like this mouse very much, it's small, but comfortable and the receiver... like it's not even there, you don't have to remove it everytime you're on the move. i just got it so can't go into details, but so far i'm very pleased with itBest Notebook Mouse
This is a fantastic notebook mouse. The nano receiver lives up to the hype, I haven't had to remove it from my laptop in the 3 months I have had the mouse. I commute to work with it every day, including using my laptop on the train and putting it in and out of my snug bag at least 6 times a day. The sensitivity and responsiveness of the "laser" technology is far superior to the older "optical" technology. There is no lag-time in the mouse, either with turning it on, or with using it after it has been idle (unlike many other mice, including most if not all bluetooth mice). I have bluetooth connectivity in my computer, but I still prefer this mouse to any bluetooth mouse. It has withstood being brought with me on my commute in my bag every day, and still looks and works like it is brand-new. The roller wheel is very cool, and I have gotten so used to it, that I now want to replace my home computer's mouse. To the reviewer who mentioned that it stops free-wheeling after a while: This feature is toggled on/off by firmly pressing down on the wheel. The mouse is notebook-mouse small, but doesn't bother me a bit, and I have large hands (I am 6'5"). I like the form-factor and the symmetry. The battery life is surprisingly good, and I am still on my first battery after 3 months of use, several hours a day, without having to frequently turn the mouse on and off. It is nice that it uses normal batteries. The included software tracks the battery life for you, so you won't have any dead-mouse surprises. In summary, this has been one of my favorite recent purchases, and I would recommend it to anyone, as several of my family and coworkers can attest to!It's OK, I prefer the regular VX
Bought the nano based on the "attractiveness" of the mini USB receiver. My biggest complaint is the forward/back buttons don't line up w/ your thumb like on a regular VX. You end up tilting your hand up ( or twisting your hand to use your index finger) which is a pain when surfing. The scroll wheel has a silent, smooth feel and works well but I prefer the feedback of a click wheel feel. The USB receiver really does disappear from view - all in all though I'd rather use the regular VX's because of it's better ergonomics.Simple Product Simple Review
Great product. What sold this for me was the small usb receiver. I purchased a competitors product initially and the finger length receiver was just too long. I was always scared it was going to hit something and break. The Logitech is a stealthy little item and does not protrude. Recommended.Great mouse. Reception might be slightly weak.
This mouse is wonderful. It's responsive, ergonomic and has very good features. The hyperscrolling wheel is a neat feature. It's nice to be able to scroll quickly through a document -- in fact, you can easily spin it too fast for your computer to handle it :). On the downside, reception might be a bit weak since I noticed that when the nano receiver is plugged in the back of my laptop away from the mouse, mouse movements are not transmitted precisely. I don't have that problem when I plug it in in the back of my laptop but closer to the mouse. I suppose the laptop screen might be creating a sufficient barrier to weaken the signal.Logitech QuickCam Deluxe for Notebooks

Perfect Webcam
This Webcam provides so many settings options for users. The video is very clear. However, the webcam is little hard to adjust left/right, and the stand is not comparable for CRT monitors.Recommended
While the setup and driver installation can take some time and be rather onerous, this camera is of superior quality. I am impressed by the amount of quality improvement over older webcams I have owned. The camera fits well on my Gateway notebook and as a nice touch, it includes a small zipper case. I would definitely recommend this camera, or perhaps if you'd like to be more impressed, one of the next models up in this product line.Good for the cost.
The Logitech Quickcam Deluxe is a pretty good web cam for your notebook. Its is small in size, seems well built, and provides good video quality for your typical IM video chat features. Software allows you to install the drivers only and that worked out well on Vista. Only issue I have had is with the clip. Using the camera on a Toshiba notebook and it has a bit thinker and angled lip on the screen top. The clip works but you have to work with it for a little bit to get it on correctly. Outside of that issue I would say this a a very good video camera for every day video chat. All that you need
Logitech QuickCam Deluxe is exactly what you need for a Laptop. It is very small, the clip stuff is really helpful to put it everywhere. Imaging is fairly good but it could be better; it does not have an automatic focus which does not allow you to move to much when using the camera but it is perfect for Skype or messenger. Even though I work in a very noisy place, I have no problems with the mic, I can be walking around and the mic still works well. If you are not looking for fancy cameras, this is what you need, and the price is fairly good.Great little camera
Very good little camera for the cost. The effects features are a lot of fun and the Low Light boost works very well. Overall you can't beat the price.
